Lovely staff and great food. Quality fish and chips, reasonably priced. Quick service. Recommend the chicken bites.

Fish supper was hot and very tasty. What fish and chips should taste like, brought back memories from when I was younger by the seaside.

This place advertises being open until 7pm. We stood at the open door at 6.50pm to be turned away as their said ‘we’re now shutting’. At least get your opening times right please, before you disappoint even more people! View menu

After reading all of the positive reviews we decided to get a takeaway. How disappointed were we. The chips tasted over cooked, the scampi was average and the mushy peas were bland. Considering the price, I would have expected better.

We just popped in for some chips after a day of hillwalking. The chips were made fresh, they were reasonably priced at £2.20 a portion which was cheaper that our coffee elsewhere. Fast and friendly service without any problems. Thank you the chips were super.

This is a proper fish and chop shop serving freshly cooked food that was excellent. The fish batter was crispy, sausage was delicious and chicken fillet bites proper pieces of chicken with sides of mushy peas and curry sauce that were also perfect. As far as I am concerned fish and chips are no longer a cheap meal and I have visited premises where they take pride in turning out a decent portion. Our portion of fish was very small and in fact both our cases the fish had been broken to keep a portion back The chips were okay and the fish was less than average. Won't be back thanks.

We stopped here for a snack after a long day out. Decided just to order chips service was great, and when the chips arrived, they were outstanding. Fresh crisp and delicious. The only downside was the pretty nasty polystyrene box they were delivered in. Considering the quality of presentation that many other shops use, presentation was disappointing.

Being local to Mhor fish I use it regularly and glad it got kept as a fish and chip restaurant and the food hasn't disappointed! Glad too the restaurant is open as always loved sitting in. Only thing thats a little disappointing is they say 12 till 9 7days per week, however that's been a couple times I've came after 12 like 20 minutes when they should be ready to serve, but they haven't other than that very good fish and chip shop and I recommend!
