"Teneriffe was another port of call on our Canaries cruise. Mixtura was another selection from TripAdvisor. It proved to be another winner. Mixtura is not far from where passengers exit the port after the shuttle bus drops off. It was tucked away in a side street and we had to resort to IOS Maps. A more careful study of the map link in TripAdvisor would have avoided that. The restaurant is small and uncomplicated. We visited on a Monday lunchtime, and the place was not busy. Gia was keen on eating baby calamari, and we had some fun trying to explain to la señora that it had to be babies and not just rings. I don't think we got the message through as her English was no better than our Spanish. I any event, what we got was delicious. We also ate Iberico ham (never an inexpensive choice) and empanadas. I drank a few glasses of wine—white or pink, I cannot now remember. I suspect it would have been cheaper to buy the bottle in the first place. The bill was €52 including a decent tip. We enjoyed it very much and will happily go back, if we are in Teneriffe again."

of my favorite sites of the holy cross. very good food, excellent attention. If you get the Scotch Whiskey, they have a very interesting letter.

It is a tasca located in the isabel ii square with a nice terrace where you can taste very varied, rich and well presented dishes, take it directly from the owners and realize in the elaboration and service to the customers. all a success for any occasion, highly recommended.

Mixtura is a fantastic place to eat in Santa Cruz. Either if you are just visiting the city, on a business lunch or want to throw a birthday party. Their staff will make sure of your needs and will do their very best to match them. They have a great range of wines and are specially careful if you let them know you have a food allergy or intolerance. Highly recommended!

Perhaps high expectation for this place I came to recommend. first of all very good attention from the waitress. a little loose food. from the saladilla with atun? to the broken eggs roasted peppers of pot, which gives a strange taste to the dish and more if the croquettes are not cooked quite better. in conclusion, tenderness, perhaps with other dishes or on another day change of opinion.

Probably it's not terribly well known but Tuna is caught through out the year in Tenerife . But I am not sure why, that sometimes they import from the other islands so it's not at its freshest . Also sometimes even if its fresh it's overcooked and dry ! Nothing like that at Mixtura! This small tapas bar is run by girls that certainly enjoy what they do ! They do have a menu del dia ! But then u don't get a chance to pick your favourites. The portions are not enormous but they certainly are big enough and if you're still hungry there is plenty more to choose from . I think the ideal would be to go with a group and share ! I was busy in between meetings and famished and they certainly were qui...
