"an old restaurant in the school in the heart of the covent garden, the French charm (completely with vintage ricard display and similar recollections) mon plaisir is a place that every fan of the French cuisine has to check out. the eating is delicious and traditional, it is not wise minimalist, but a selection of classic dressed to perfection: the coq au vin is a special highlight as the petit pois mixed with cream and speck. the restaurant also offers an extremely inexpensive set menu for lunch and pre-theater. it is worth visiting for the facility alone, make sure that it is a table at the front for this, in the rear room is still beautiful, but lacks the same atmosphere."

there are so many good old restaurants in my quarter seven dials, and one of them is this beautiful family-run French restaurant mon plaisir.

Thanks to my lovely French friend who introduced me to here. I could be in France for that moment. Friendly, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. good service. Great value for pre theatre menu.

Fantastic! This is a genuine French restaurant. It's not pretentious with tiny portions; instead, it offers delicious homemade meals. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and they have a lovely wine selection.

At the first moment you come to this place they give you a great feeling. Very comfortable waiters, it is a good place to hang out with friends or with your date. Excellent cuisine, experienced chef, modest price and professional service. Warmly recommended.

but if they are after a little french in the center of london, they try mon plaisir, they serve well directly forward typical and traditional French cuisine. they also get to practice their French, the waiters are very polite and friendly, even after a graceful decision to speak and order French,

Lovely and long-standing French restaurant. Popped in for coffee while meeting my partner at her hairdresser. I can't comment on the food but the welcome, coffee and delicious dessert we had, in lieu of a biscuit for my partner who likes a nibble with her coffee, was excellent. I lived in Covent Garden for years and never went there. What a fool I am!!!!!!

this is a place with a lot of history and they get the feeling when they go in. it mixes an old-fashioned decor with something more contemporary to create an atmosphere that is original and interesting. it is french bistro cooking in its best and the service was excellent and was happy to leave a generous tipp. eating was quite decent, but nothing amazing. I'd still think I'd go back.

I had the pleasure of taking my son out for a lovely meal as a treat before the lockdown. The staff welcomed us warmly, and when we realized we were running late, we called the restaurant to let them know. The owner personally answered the phone and assured us she would hold our table. Despite arriving an hour late, she kept her promise. We couldn't have asked for better food or presentation—it was impressive! Everything was fresh and incredibly tasty. We hope to return as soon as they reopen. Thank you for having us, "Mon Plaisir." See you soon!

I had an interesting experience at this restaurant. The French cuisine is quite authentic, and it’s nice to see a few French patrons enjoying their meals as well. The service is polite and unobtrusive, and the staff is very patient while attending to your needs. Overall, the food is mostly good, although I've had a couple of disappointments, particularly with the sirloin steak. However, their lunch menu—which I usually opt for—usually hits the mark and is reasonably priced for a two-course meal. This is definitely a place to go for good French food, but I wouldn’t say it’s outstanding.
