"huge thanks to caroline for attaching a beautiful meal for mike's birthday! the table had been decorated with balloons and banners (not requested, but the little extra given to make it special). eating was wonderful as the friendly service and another special note for dessert when it was written with a candle and 'happy birthday mike ' beautiful in chocolate on the teller! 19 of us enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend for a special occasion or just a nice quiet meal out. first thanks!"

Great addition to the area. Good beer, ideal beer garden when sun is out, friendly staff. Great for Crib and quiz nights, plus music.

this morning the restaurant visited the breakfast. beautiful staff, breakfast cooked to perfection, pot of tee beautiful, charge toast! I have to try her Sunday roast sometime.

Wow, this carvery is outstanding! I couldn't find any faults - there were numerous vegetable options to choose from and the meat was incredibly tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive, I couldn't have asked for more. I would even go as far as to say this is the best place to have a Sunday carvery. I will definitely be returning soon.

It is a wonderful place meet, drink soon eat! You always receive a warm welcome from staff and a good chat with everyone. It's open at the weekend including to the public but I highly recommend joining and getting a 10% discount card off the already cheap drink hireing the hall! Best of luck with, what I'm sure will be an even better, 7 day a week much expanded new bar that is opening real soon! Love to meet you there. Cheers !
