"If your looking for a typical Frankfurt cuisine restaurant/ pub without the tourist and cider bit this is the place. The food is the same quality (and quantity) for decades, not pretentious, down to earth, honest to god Frankfurt or Hesse style food with good selection of beer, local ciders (Apfelwein) or vinos. During the summer the beer garden is open and in the colder month it can get very busy even during the week. best to book if possible."

If you look for a traditional but not touristy spot, that's your restaurant. Small but with beer garden. Service us very personal and food is outstanding. Best "grüne Sauce" in town

In summer you can enjoy the wonderful backyard sitting beer and having a wonderful dinner. They also provide English menus and Thomas Mosebach, the owner, is always around and friendly.

Restaurant ideal to enjoy typical German cuisine from Hesse. It has an interesting garden for summer sunny days. Schnitzel Hesse style to try. Besides different types of beers there is an offer of wines.

Very pleasant German restaurant in lively Bornheim area. Great garden during summer. Excellent pork or veal schnitzel with "green sauce," a Frankfurt specialty made from regional herbs. Seasonal specials, now it's game time. Good wines and needless to say beer, and "apple wine," another regional specialty. Relaxed, cosy atmosphere, friendly service. It's advisable to book.

Although this restaurant is know for its Schnitzel, I found the more interesting cuisine is on the daily menu. As it is game season one of the two featured dishes was wild boar sausage which came with a subtle purée of pumpkin and potato. A good weiss beer was a fine beverage with my meal. My companions ordered the schnitzel which looked as always. Pleasant informal atmosphere with friendly and efficient service.
