"This was right next to the hotel we were staying in and hence we showed up here for lunch the day we arrived. The place had a casual relaxed vibe with lively music . The service started a little cold to begin but warmed up as the meal progressed. We tried the mezze platter with kofta and falafel salad. Both were good but not outstanding. The Aubergine and tzatiziki mezze stood out along with the falafel."

Nice atmosphere and a unique decoration. A lot of variety of dishes with the possibility to combine some small plates. Fast and friendly service.

Tasty Libanese Food in a vibrant atmosphere. Don’t be to late as it might get crowded. Go for the Mezze and share your food. Cause sharing is caring.

This is a nice and cozy place to hang out with friends. The food overall was good but not spectacular. However the service is very nice. We had a set of vegetarian small plates which we shared among the entire group.

Superb restaurant. Friendly staff (2 people couldn't get to us fast enough), quick service, delicious Chicken Schawarma, a great Amber ale. Oh and I'm not sure what they did with the chips but they were yummy too. All round great experience

Had dinner outside. Nice terras and setting. The food was good and tasteful; hence the poor instead of terrible rating. Yet, service was extremely bad and arrogant and does not make this a recommendable place. One can get much better in Zurich. View menu

There is a very youthful air and attention to details in the restaurant. The décor of the restaurant perfectly assembles the Lebanese style with the requirements of Zurich. The food very good and the service is present and noninvasive. Recommended to try something different

The eggplant (Frittierte Aubergine cubes) was the best we've every had anywhere. The veggie Arayes was also very good. We loved the quiet location right along the canal. It was nice to have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We found the menu varied with lots of interesting dishes for both vegetarian and meat-eaters.

"My recent visit to Edi's Pizzeria in downtown Zurich was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for the entire experience. First and foremost, I must commend the staff for their exceptional service. Every member of the team was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfection. From offering recommendations to promptly refilling drinks, their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. As a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that offer delicious meat-free options, and Edi's Pizzeria exceeded my expectations. "This is my fav Italian joint in Zurich. La Famiglia Tremonte is a small, family run cafe-restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Italian food at prices that are low compared to the norm in Zurich.Famiglia Tremonte is rather inconspicuously located at the corner of Zurlindenstrasse and Birmensdorferstrasse, a couple of doors away from The Desperado Mexican Restaurant. You might need to look for it a little: I lived practically next door and did not notice it for almost a year, and even then a friend had to point it out to me.The restaurant is mostly a takeout with very little seating, i.e. 7 people inside, and when the weather is goo, about 5 people outside. The ambience is basic but, like most things in Switzerland, the interiors are very clean. Staff and service are very goo. The food here is awesome! Authentic Italian fare that is probably heavily influenced by Sicilian tradition since that is where the family is from. I used to visit almost every day because the food tastes great and the prices are so low for Zurich. I have tried almost everything: several pasta dishes, polpettine, stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf, piadina, and of course, the fabulously tasty and hot chilli infused EVOO. I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Great stuff! I strongly recommend the super-hot chilli infused EVOO as a seasoning for almost all dishes, but especially the pasta dishes that come in a cream sauce. Please be careful with chilli EVOO: 0.5 tbsp. for noobs, and a max. of 2 tbsp. for those who like it hot. The chilli EVOO, when used appropriately, adds great flavour to your dish. The piadina is the best I have eaten - period. I have been all over the world, spent a lot of time in Italy and New York (: great place for Italian food lovers :), and I still think this is the best piadina ever. They also serve some nice Italian desserts -- I've tried a few but have forgotten the names. They also have a small selection of Italian ingredients for sale. I bought the pesto and was happy with it. You also get a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Italian drinks to go with the food.Prices are relatively low by Zurich standards: I rarely ever ate for more than CHF 15, and if I skipped the drinks it was usually around CHF 10. Of course, this varies a bit according to what you order.Highly recommended. Glad I found this place. Great for office workers in the vicinity."
