"The service at the restaurant was great, but the food lacked character and taste. The langoustines were over-fried and tasted like fish sticks. The prawn curry was bland and lacking in flavor. The dhansak was also lacking in flavor. The highlight of the meal was the sweet and sour chutney served with papads. The Pinot wine also did not have much flavor. I had high expectations due to Todiwala's presence on TV, but I was disappointed with the food."

The service was warm and friendly, and the table was elegantly clean. The food was decent, with the lamb being crispy but the chutney relishes lacking in flavor. The beer selection was limited to either bottled Coca-Cola or their own IPA, which was quite hoppy and pricey at 8 GBP for a 330ml bottle. While convenient for hotel guests, overall the restaurant was underwhelming and expensive.

The food was delicious but not so exceptional to justify the high prices! The menu is overwhelming but we were lucky that the staff had time to tell us about the dishes and make some recommendations. The staff and service were excellent! There was only one other table occupied so was very quiet for a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant would benefit from wider marketing. Would recommend to a friend.
