We reside in Spain but frequently visit family in Maldon, and one of our favorite pastimes is dining at this restaurant. The building is charming, the food is exceptional, and the staff is delightful. While it's not entirely vegan, preventing me from giving it a full five stars, they do offer a solid selection of vegan cakes and a dedicated vegan menu section with plenty of options. The vegan breakfast is particularly impressive. Though it can be a bit pricey, the wonderful atmosphere makes it well worth it.

Had an absolutely delicious vegan afternoon tea. Large range of loose leaf teas available and also an Americano for coffee drinkers. Several delicious sandwiches and cakes as well as the most delicious scone I’ve ever had! One of the best vegan teas around and at a really reasonable price. Service was also fantastic very attentive and offer blankets if it’s cold. I had to check they do vegan afternoon teas before booking as the website only allows you to book ‘signature afternoon tea’ you have to book this and then write vegan in the dietary requirements section. Feel vegan is not a ‘dietary requirement’.
