"Sometimes I am hesitant about eating at Nando 's as I feel it 's a bet against whether I will be satisfied or not. I don 't know why that is! Maybe it is because it is a franchise, although I have never had a bad experience at a Nando 's restaurant. Nonetheless, I was a fool to be hesitant! Yummy Chicken! Going to the gym straight after work, I felt like I needed some food straight afterwards and a friend of mine often says: a chicken wrap is the perfect post-workout snack. So having this in my head and knowing there was a Nando 's only a minute 's walk from the gym, we decided to pop in, and this changed my perception completely! Rather than grabbing food to takeaway, which was the original plan, we decided to sit in and order. What can I say; I was more than satisfied with the decision. I ordered the Butterfly Burger with the hot sauce marinade and fries. It was a great portion size and the chicken (two chicken breasts! was nice and thick and perfectly cooked; the hot sauce gave the food an incredible kick! The chicken came on a Portuguese roll , which resemble a tough bun, and lettuce and a slice of a large tomato. With my fries, I had the extra hot sauce to dip. Very nice! My only critique was that the fries were lukewarm, but not exactly devastating. My girlfriend had the super food Quinoa Salad with Chicken Breast fillet. She loved it! Again it was a great portion size and she said it was one of the best salad 's she 's had in the UK; and this is a girl that frequents the German salad restaurant Dean David 's on a regular basis, so she knows a good salad, when she 's presented with one. The only issue she had was the lack of Avocado in the salad, but this was easily resolved by talking to the kitchen and she got extra Avocado slices on the side. I even added a bit of Avocado to my dish, and it added something extra to my burger. Tasty! It was around 19:00 on a Wednesday night when we visited and the restaurant was just starting to fill up, quiet at first so ordering wasn 't an issue and the food arrived quite quickly. This Nando 's can be a little drafty when the door is opened due to the open plan layout, but moving tables was fine. The price was mid-range, which is normal for the city centre, and the quality is definitely worth it. We paid around £20 for food. I was extremely happy with the food, and I can now say that there is no reason to doubt the quality of the food here, and I may just visit again for a post-workout snack ."

I am a big Nando's fan! I ordered a Chicken Burger (medium spiced) with corn on the cob, salad and coleslaw.

In and around Manchester City centre there are 5 Nando's stores now, including one just a mile out at Manchester Fort which makes it 6.

The range of chicken spices offered at this restaurant is incredibly impressive. If you find that the spice level isn't exactly to your liking, they have additional bottles of various sauces that you can use. The only drawback is that it is self-service.

There is a reason that I am in the Duke of this place. When I am in UK I'll have to go at least once a day to get my fix of perfectly grilled chicken. Done the South African way the chicken comes from the grill always juicy and the skin crispy. I just love my chicken with skin and if it is with skin it needs to be crispy. They also have some tasty vegetarian option so while in town hubby get something to eat alongside me haha.

I am disappointed to write this review, as I have been a loyal customer of Nando's in Manchester Spinningfields for many years. Unfortunately, the restaurant has declined in quality recently, making it a place to avoid rather than visit. The chain as a whole has suffered from price increases and a decrease in food quality. This specific location has seen a high turnover of staff, resulting in impersonal and slow service. The chicken has become dryer and of lower quality. While the restaurant has a nice interior and outdoor seating, I am hesitant to return. I would give it 2 stars.

Nando's is a popular restaurant, but I found it to be just average. The restaurant is spacious and it's easy to find a table. They have an interesting system where you are seated first and then have to order at the counter. The menu is focused on chicken, with a range of portion sizes and sides to choose from for customization. I had the half chicken with peri-salted chips and coleslaw. The seasoning on the chicken was tasty, and the variety of sauces allowed for customization. The garlic peri-peri and medium sauces were particularly good for dipping. The chicken was not as meaty as I hoped, but still decent. The sides were average. Overall, I thought Nando's was just okay and would be a dec...

Did you know that there are people in this country who haven 't been to Nando 's? Did you know that I work with two of them? After receiving a voucher in return for an interview with a strategy agency, there was no question that it was time to introduce the boys to their first 'cheeky ' experience. Spinningfields is simply the closest branch for us at work and actually has a modern, fairly sophisticated vibe to it. Perhaps it 's because we visited at 3.30pm on a Friday but it 's definitely one of the better chicken experiences I 've had. Our server was lovely and on his first shift, so it actually worked out well that my colleagues needed everything explaining to them! After being talked thr...

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
