"Restaurant Nees is in a beautiful location. I came for afternoon tea and decided to stay for dinner. I was the first guest for dinner, so the service was great. My Russian waitress was really nice, thoughtful, and provided great suggestions. I had a delicious...meal. It was high quality; I enjoyed the rabbit as a starter and the Arctic Trout for the main course. Although this restaurant is pricey, the quality of the food, the preparation, and the delivery were of equal quality. This is a place to eat if you like higher class settings and don't mind small portions that are skillfully prepared. If you're someone that complains because you don't get a trough of **** set down in front of you and a coca cola; you probably don't want to it here nor pay the price. I'd go back if I could guarantee the service was going to be of the same quality, or if I could secure the same waitress. I wouldn't feel confident with a German server; they're rude, brash, difficult, rigid and unwilling to accommodate, and are off putting in most restaurants. Given the price, I probably wouldn't risk it. But, I'll go back for afternoon tea and a cake any day and sit outside near the Botanical gardens, the setting is well worth it."

Bonn is a charming city on the Rhine, known for Beethoven's birthplace. Typical dishes include Sauerbraten, Rhenish mussels, and Himmel un Ääd, a mix of mashed potatoes and apples.
