"Had a lovely Sunday Lunch in this wonderful British Pub. The Bar area was homily with a roaring fire and the Dining room warm and cosy on this cold and miserable day. Both wife and self (Pork for Her, Beef for me) agreed best Sunday Lunch ever with ample roast potatoes (always a plus for me) and carrots ,parsnips, cauliflower cheese and mange tout (usually a bit non descript but these were done with bacon bits delicious) and lovely gravy. Great chocolate brownie for pud and a lovely pint of Guiness (perfect head) to compliment it. Highly recommended."

Lovely setting in the garden, very very friendly service and good quality home cooked pub food. Baked Camembert to share and fajitas for mains. Good selection of beers and sensible pricing. All in all a very enjoyable evening and dinner View menu

The food at this traditional pub is absolutely delicious, with a nicely furnished dining area. The service is warm and courteous, and the veggie curry was particularly outstanding. I was impressed with how they made the tofu taste so good. I will definitely be returning soon. The car park is also a decent size.

What a gem of a place! Dora could not do enough for us and we even had a room upgrade (just because it was available). The room was fabulous. Spacious and airy with a comfy bed and lovely bathroom. We ate in the restaurant that evening and had a lovely meal. Breakfast the next morning was also really good. Fantastic, friendly service... we will definitely be back.

We had a 2 night stay in the Champagne room that had a walk-in shower which was great. The room was very clean with tea and coffee available. The restaurant food and service was good other than the fish chips left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was very good and great choices. The wedding food and service was excellent nothing to much bother they made it a great day for the couple. View menu

Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful country pub and restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were so helpful and friendly it really left a mark. I went with my wife and son and we all had something different to eat and it was all excellent. The food was absolutely beautiful and we will definitely visit next time we are down that way. The landlady, Dora, really knows how to set the scene for an enjoyable evening. Her influence on the menu to be commended. Thank you so much all at The New Inn.

I met up with a family of 12 on a Sunday and the restaurant's welcoming and social distancing measures were excellent. However, the standout was definitely the food - wow, they really know how to do a fantastic roast. It is hands-down the best roast I have ever had! The presentation and service were also top-notch. The dessert menu was equally impressive. I will definitely be returning, even though I live quite far away. Kudos to the management and staff - keep up the great work. I'll see you again very soon!
