"They offer some tempting lunch specials, which give you even more reason to stop by. During our visit, we indulged in the Bklyn Boy ($7.99), a combo dish that has become our favorite because there’s so much good food out there to try. This meal features a delicious mix of beef and chicken, complete with a sweet chili Chipotle mayo that provides that delightful spicy kick you crave. The chicken patty was cooked perfectly, making it a meal you definitely want to pursue. Then there was the Badman Burger ($8.49), which was drool-worthy, featuring double buttermilk chicken fillets topped with Sriracha sauce. Why settle for one when you can have two? The gherkins added a nice tang, making this dish even more enjoyable. We also tried the Kickin’ Wingers x5 ($2.99), which were fried (without any batter) and tossed in a delicious sauce that was both tender and sweet. This was definitely not your average wing flavor, and we were happy we gave it a shot. All burgers can be turned into meals for an additional $1.99, which includes a side and a drink. We chose New York Fries and Creamy Mash as our sides. The fries were excellent, but the mash seemed like standard boxed mash, so I’d recommend going for the fries if you have to choose. If only we had room for more, as we were intrigued by the Peanut Buttercup Fries—don’t miss those! **Overall Review:** - **Recommendation:** Highly recommended - **Service:** Excellent - **Price:** Affordable - **Halal:** Yes, full menu available"

I highly recommend trying their Premium Candy Shakes for drinks, along with the NY Cheesy Fries as a side. For mains, don’t miss the Dirty Chicken Waffle, and be sure to indulge in the Milky Bun for dessert.

The burgers weren't great compared to other burger places that are within a 5 10 minute walk from the Diner. The chicken burger was too dry and the beef burger was pretty dry. The place is pretty much a self service and you pay for your order before it arrives. Mac and cheese was the best part of the meal.

I visited the restaurant with my wife and our two-year-old. The food was great; we particularly enjoyed the hot dogs, and the burger was decent—no complaints there. However, we didn't give a perfect rating because our table was dirty and sticky. Unfortunately, no one came to clean it, so we had to wipe it down ourselves using a baby wipe.

I had the Dirty Poutine (Poutine with roasted chicken stripes above) and a milkshake. The food and the drink were really nice. The service was fast and the staff was welcoming. I didn't have to wait too long for my food. That was good. The place looks small on the outside, but actually has a fair amount of tables and rooms. No complaints.

The decor was excellent, but the food wasn't as good as I was expecting. I was hyped after hearing the opinion of one of my friends and I was left fairly disappointed. The buns really let the burgers down. If they had used better quality bread, the food would have been 4*. On the plus side, the chips were nice and crunchy. The restrooms were also out of service, which was another negative point against NYD.

Overall I can't fault the place but it wasn't a place that I would go out of my way to comeback to. The food was fresh and tasted alright. The place was very quiet and the overall appearance of the place was done to a good standard. Just a shame the overall presentation of the seating wasn't looked after in the sence chairs were all over the place and it didn't help that it was only me and my brother in there so just made the place look messy. The staff were friendly and the food came in good time. The dessert I tried was the chewy waffle which was far better than the regular waffles you get these days. In all honesty it's a place you try once atleast and that's probably it.

The place was a little cold but the seats were comfy. I ordered the chicken wings and have to say they tasted amazing. Cruncy with tender meat and a good size wing. I also got the sloppy fries and have to say I was dissapointed. I expected a bigger portion that would make my mouth water. It was a modest portion of fries with basic mince on there. Wouldn't call it spicy and a little dollop of cheese sauce. Service was good and food arrived promptly. Have to say though I felt sorry for the young girl behind the counter. She was working alone and looked very stressed, try to manage orders, wait on customers, clean tables and make the desserts and drinks. Its far too much for one person to do al...

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"First of all let me say a positive, the only positive- Taylor our server was Brilliant, so polite friendly and excellent at his job ABSOLUTE RIP OFF, they only care about your money this place the food is so vile I couldn't eat much, meat was terrible. I'm a person who like to order at the bar, So I went upto the bar and tried to order to none alcoholic cocktails approx 11.80 on menu, I was told server will bring it over looked at Bill when he did, 13.00 I told him take that service charge off , absolutely disgusting they don't want you to order at bar so they squeeze a few extra pound out of you everytime you order a drink it's not the it's the principle) After meals in next room ,another service charge added on bill of 17, it's a disgrace and leaves a bad taste in my mouth , as if the place isn't expensive enough.. I would of definitely left a 20 tip for Taylor anyway as he was excellent but to be forced to do it in a restaurant that is already ripping you off in a cost of living crisis just shows you what this restaurant is all about. It'd 52 each anyway and you can't eat that much meat as it'd really poor quality and cooked poorly so please don't make the same mistake we made and choose this restaurant to eat. I so nearly walked out after the incident at bar when they tried to add on a service charge by made me think they were being polite and bringing our drinks to us, I really wish I had as I've had better tasting food at McDonald's in Moss Side"
