Fabulous food, this restaurant deserves a Michelin star. The tasting menu is amazing, especially with the optional wine pairing. We go regularly and have never been disappointed.

Dinner for 4 on Friday night. Just an outstanding experience from start to finish. Every course was superb, the staff are outstanding, great knowledge of the menus and full of good advice, all delivered in a friendly manner. Brilliant dining, a real treat. Can’t wait to return.

A lovely small restaurant with great customer service and wonderful tasty food and tremendous wine. Locally sourced food and great cooking that injects loads of flavour into every ingredient. We had the ‘tasting menu’, an interesting range of flavours, if not very filling. Tip: keep part of the small loaf course 3? to mop up the delicious sauce served with the duck the largest and perhaps best course . We asked for extra bread, but were told it would have to be baked specially. If I return, I’ll try the á la carte menu.

Just been here for my mum’s 60th birthday and it was the perfect place to be! Had an absolutely delicious 3 course lunch, it was pretty much perfect no complaints! Lovely food and a good amount on each plate. The owners were absolutely lovely and had a lot of time for us when we asked about different dishes and what ingredients they were made using etc. We will definitely be back!

I've had the pleasure of dining at Next Door a dozen or so times for lunch with colleagues, friends and clients. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed, the team members are friendly and the food is excellent. The lunch menu is very straightforward with typically 3 choices for each of the three courses. Every meal I've had here has been delicious, and I've always found it to represent excellent value given the superb standard of the cooking. Highly recommend. View menu

From the moment we walked through the door to the time we departed we were made extremely welcome by the charming, knowledgeable and helpful staff that ensured a relaxed and easy atmosphere. The environment was cosy but you never felt over looked. The background music was very listenable. The menu got the mouth watering. The food was excellent using as many local produces as possible. My wife and I made different choices from the menu all which excelled beyond our expectations. The Swizz lager, rose wine and carafe of Pinot noir all added to a splendid meal and experience. What a birthday treat for my son’s 45th! He loves fine dining, that’s why he chose Next Door, the restaurant is only small and intimate, but the ambiance of the place is spot on, matching the clientele! The lunch menu although small, was just right, as everything is cooked to order. I opted for the main and dessert! Delicious, as the menu changes every week I will only comment on the flavours and portions. I found it to be a dining sensation, the flavours were unbelievable, an explosion of tastes that every one of my tastebuds picked up on. I have been determined to get into Next Door for as long as the restaurant has been open! However on so many occasions it was not possible until the other week when we (myself and the girlfriend) with the facility of attending a birthday party. As I entered I found myself looking at a fabulous rural bijou place with olde worlde charm dripping from every corner of the restaurant.
