One of our favorite dinners we had in Sicily. This is the place to go for really fresh, well prepared seafood. Get the shells safe! The waiting staff was very friendly and even offered to translate the menu for us.

I remember old times when, with another name, it was one of the best trattorias near Lake Ganzirri, where you could eat excellent fresh fish at a good price. It has remained identical, even if the furnishings have changed a little. Must try. View menu

Hidden over this wonderful cozy place, just when the kitchen was closed after lunch and we were still greeted for a quick bite. The spaghetti with mussels and mussels and swordfish rolls were delicious. The waiter friendly and efficient and an excellent value for money. Very recommended.

This is a tiny little trattoria with just 6 or 7 tables. It’s tucked in a back alley between the lake and ocean. There aren’t any vegetarian options on the menu, and the food wasn’t very imaginative: our antipasto was chunks of Swiss cheese, salami, bologna, and store-bought veggies. The service was mostly friendly (except when I said I was vegetarian, which caused an argument in the kitchen) but a bit confused (two people took our antipasto orders, the beverage order was an afterthought, we got white when we ordered red wine). Again, a friendly mom-and-pop kind of place, but I don’t think we’ll go back.

The best place to celebrate any occasion! I celebrated my graduation at lunch in July and despite it being incredibly hot the owner tried to make me feel comfortable. He took care of everything from the appetizer to the cake in a careful and precise manner. We ate wonderfully with very fresh fish, so much so that my relatives from overseas were delighted. He took care of every detail, from the red tablecloths to the cake table. The owner is a very kind and helpful person to whom I wish the best. The only flaw is that the place is small inside, so I recommend a reduced guest list, because then discomfort sets in, while outside there are no such problems.
