I have been meeting with friends at Northney Farm Tea Rooms for years. The quality of the food is wonderful and the staff are incredible. Each time we go, we are warmly welcomed. Nothing is too much trouble. If you're looking for a bite to eat on Hayling Island, look no further.

The setting is lovely and the staff polite and friendly. My friend ordered the potato skins and they looked delicious with a helping of coleslaw and salad. I ordered a prawn Marie rose sandwich and was disappointed. It came with coleslaw but nothing else..no salad...no crisps...so it looked a little plain and sad on the plate. Especially for £8! It also should have been Marie Rose sauce on the prawns as stated on the menu but they were mixed with mayonnaise instead. Not overly impressed...would go back but avoid the sandwiches as I don't think they are worth the money.

Lovely tearooms in lovely setting with pleasant staff which I have been visiting for many years . The food has always been of great quality and generous portions and always felt it was good value. On my last 3 recent visits I felt the portions were very meagre with everything extra on top. The burgher my husband had tasted pre cooked with a tiny portion of crisps and coleslaw . My breakfast consisted of one small slice of toast two mushrooms , one egg and a rasher of bacon. Cooked well but just the bare minimum.
