"I and my girlfriend have supper here attracted by reviews and their website, knowing that it would be a meat-based evening in a goliardic environment. the room is large enough to be in the center of Paris, can easily accommodate tabled by 15 people. the waiters are entangled in the Gallic style (or mostly Viking to be sincere) and are all young and very nice boys. not exactly efficent he learned, we asked the bread twice before receiving it at the table only after 30 minutes from the first rihiesta. the menu includes appetizers all you can eat a dish with contour, a cheese dish and dessert, besides he wine at will. appetizers, and wine are in self-service mode. the wine to be at you can drink is good, a burgundy that, however, you have to use yourself from a single distributor that can be unfortunately very distant from the table, while the quality of the appetizers has a little disappointed. 3 types of salami to slice yourself on a cutting board, raw vegetables to make a pynzimonium and 3 types of salads, a goat type and dua based on cabbages, paté and rilelttes. All good enough, but nothing much. the dish was a disappointment: we took lamb all of you, which was served with a potato to the cartoccio and a little steamed vegetables. excellent vegetables and potato, quite bad meat: poorly done cooking with the non-existent taste. to follow a copious cheese cutter, and a chocolate moose. overall the meal would also be without infamy, but in the face of the price the overall judgment is reduced drastically: 30 auro per head if you are students, 40 for all others. Honestly, it doesn't hold any comparison with other similar restaurants. more on the site they write that it is open until 1:00 at night, but at 11:00 the kitchen had closed and they were already cleaning the room."

You like meat? Go there you gonna die before finishing the buffet! It is good for people not keen on refined and classy cuisine. Fresh products. No problem!

Typical Gaulois restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Set menu large and comprehensive with free flow red wine. Certainly you must be hungry to finish the portions.

its atmosphere is special you move centuries ago, it is always visited by travelers from all over the world, the food is good, the sausages and cheeses cut your own at discretion, the wine serves it in jars directly from the barrel. it is accompanied with typical music. all for a fairly acceptable fixed price

This place was a complete hoot. The fun atmosphere complete with the staff in Nordic helmets complete with horns and a sort of castle like set of interconnecting rooms complemented the meal. We had steaks, chicken, and even boar sausage. It was all nicely prepared...and very tasty. A fun, reasonably priced, nice meal. Quirky fun dining.

This restaurant has the feeling of a medieval cave. Big tables, wine poured from a cask and strolling musicians. The food is very average, but the restaurant has a following as a fun family style place to go with a lively environment. I was years ago as a college student and remembered it, so had to bring our college age boys there for dinner. They definitely enjoyed it!

In real Pre-Roman times, the Gauls celtic tribes wich inhabited today's France never wore Viking Helmets and horns, that is rather a Disney like invention. But it seems true that the Gauls used to drink and eat a lot. So, if you wanna...have a true Gaul experience, or simply love food by the quantity and wine by the bottle instead of glass, this is YOUR PLACE. The building is centuries old, the staff is funny, the food is good ... not exactly gourmet, but after so much wine, no one would notice either. Relax, and be a true OBELIX for one day.

My beautiful wife and i were looking forward to this establishment for some fun and theatre along with some hearty food. Located across the street from our hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly ans promptly seated. The ambiance was good and reasonably well themed...in medieval props and decor. The waiter in costume was helpful and courteous. That's about it. The food was just ok, the fun and entertainment was nowhere to be seen. Being a Sunday night it appears low customer numbers equal none of the above. To be fair l am sure busy nights have a completely different experience. However we were charged the same as any other night and were both disappointed based on reviews we had read pri...

The restaurant looks like an old inn, stone walls and floors, long wooden tables and weapons that decorate the walls. The appetizer consists in vegetables already clean arranged in a basket on the table, sausages and sauces are on a counter along the wall. The...main dish is meat different choices), a large boiled potato garnished with crème fraiche with herbs and salad. Then follows the cheese platter and to finish the dessert. Red wine at will to accompany everything: on the table there are empty jugs that you can fill at will (if you want water just ask the waiter, but remember that there are no fizzy drinks After nine o'clock in the evening, the meal is also animated by a guitar singer w...
