We have had several meals at this restaurant and each has been quite good. Not Michelin good but good for a hotel restaurant.

the food left much to wish, the only thing it saved was the great one. few choices and the meal all was less than pleasant. the waiters were overwhelmed, but nice. View menu

we were at the renaissance hotel, and after a long day wanted something close. service was exceptional, and the bark and the chicken were delicious. would definitely return.

gote is thanks to this healthy, family-friendly yet super elegant restaurant. after days of eating junk food, what a tasty bite to have fresh fish, steamed vegetables, large and varied salads without asking judge! and eating was tasteful. a goddess in the land. high card high fat and high cholesterol diet!

We chose this restaurant after a long morning of travel and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of the meal. My wife had a lunch special that included pesto pasta and wine for 9 euros, and I chose the gnocchi. Both were excellent....It appeared that most of the customers were local businessmen, rather than tourists. Service was good, but not exceptional.

we live in the renaissance hotel in neapel and decided to eat in their restaurant. what a great decision! we were tired of traveling and thought it wise to stay on our own. we were surprised and happy about our decision. we both had. the tasting menu’. I had the tradizione that is traditional Naples court, everyone was better than the last. my man had the “mare” the seafood and was satisfied and satisfied. the prices were excellent and dessert was included. the waiting staff was pleasant and professional. we already think to eat here during our stay. bravo!

"Very nice ambience. The restaurant is located in an old construction near Baia's port. You eat in the middle of an old courtyard, feeling like you are back in the 1950s. Very good tableware. A bit less comfortable is the entrance, as the place is right on the street, very busy and dangerous on saturday night. Service is good too, just a bit harrassing with waiters explaining every dish with long descriptions one forgets the second lates they finish. That is part of an atmosphere the owner wants to be classy and elegant. The problem is that food is not at the same level. I mean, it is good and fresh, especially raw fish, but preparations are too standard to justify an averagely high price. In a table of 7, we had cold and hot starters including raw seafood and one main dish (paranza fried fish for some and catch of the day for the others), plus 5 desserts and white wine. I believe 310€ are a bit too much for what we had, not really in terms of quantity, but for the quality of the preparations. One example is the cold starter: a dish composed by 5 different starters to be eaten from left to right, from lighter to stronger taste. You start with one single raw sea truffle, go on with a tuna tartare, one single raw baby red shrimp with burrata, raw calamari slices and finally smoked salmon. Good quality and right taste, but nothing new, no special work from the chef, that's food you can find in every good-standard restaurant in the area of Naples. Same with the fish we had: too simple. In my view, simplicity is a positive value in food, but not for a place that wants to construct its own style on a classy and elaborate (and expensive) cuisine concept. Different situation concerning the desserts which I personally didn't try but left my friends with very good sensations. In conclusion, it's worth a try, can be good for a romantic tête-à-tête or a dinner with friends, but don't expect a special experience."
