"If you feel like having a little snack without a lot of fuzz, this place might be a good choice. It offers some Japanese-ish dishes that are quite satisfying when you are willing to give up high standards of authenticity and quality. The sad thing...is that everything could be better with a bit of consideration, without adding costs and raising prices. The duck breasts could be juicier and crispier if prepared correctly. The sake would taste better if served at the right temperature. The soy sauce could be more enjoyable if a low-sodium alternative was offered. And.. and... and... this list would be long. I suggest that the owner or manager start thinking about how to create a better guest experience with the means they have available."

Been here a few times now and will keep coming back. The flavours are just great. I've tried a variety of dishes now and I really liked it all. Especially the coconut pannacotta with mango. Delicious! Enjoy this place.

Visited Oishii for years and price quality was always excellent. Yesterday we came back and the place is getting sloppy .. quality is going down .. and it is becoming a real student place managed by students it feels. I miss to real Japanese touch...it had in the early days .. the fresh and refined plates

Some of the best sushi I've had. It takes a little bit of time for the sushi to be prepared, but you see all of it being prepared. Very nice service for some good quality food. The price is bordering expensive, but worth the value....Reserve the table if possible if in summer, you should definitely sit outside.

Services was very slow, we had to aks several times to get service. Dishes ordered did not come all together. One dish was not delivered at all, but a different one was served. Food quality was nothing special. Startes were average. Main courses were a...little better. Best dish was the ramen dish. a place for young people.

I visited this place for its ramen. After the first two visits, I was never able to have ramen; instead, it is always with udon. I am not sure why they are selling ramen but never have it available. The soup base is very delicious...though. The service is generally good. The sushi is normal. The prices are high given the quality of the dishes.

The food is not exactly bad, but it isn't specifically good either. It's OK ish. That pretty much goes for the whole of the menu. Not OK is the price they ask. Heavily overpriced for the quality they offer therefore star rating at best....One could better go a few meters up the street to Mama Thai which is reasonably priced at better food quality and better Service.

I like to have dinner in Oishii as I am in Aachen. Nevertheless yesterday night I took Kaiza Salad and I was quite disappointed to see that most of it was lettuce. Why using this tasteless and weedy vegetables when Germany can offer super crispy...and tasty one in this season: white and red cabbage, Savoy cabbage, selleri and so on and so forth. I hope Oishii takes out my advice and next time I can taste a more interesting salad.
