"just before the evening musical visit we were looking for a normal restaurant. We were sitting in harburg near the hotel panorama on the oktober. super beergarten, comprehensive food map and and and...... drink selection. We wanted to test this and it was very good for us. also eating did not give rise to any complaints. only the service meant that we had to wait too long for our food and brought us a second salad for each as compensation. we found this very great. The super service of anni, which had served us.Due to the rooky portion we could dispense with the breakfast on the following day - so absolutely hungry bring! and .... we come back!"

here you can feel comfortable, we were only there for breakfast and were already a little enchanted by the atmosphere and the food offered in compared to the trips.

I've never eaten anything that wasn't good. sure it is not a raised kitchen, but that does not convey the oktober either. it is deculent and simple, which is not negatiw.

I was eating with my mother spontaneously there. we were kindly greeted and got a table. I ate pizza funghi, my ma fish with bratkartoffeln, garnibro and remoulade. the pizza was rather average and a little fad of taste. the fish was good, not dry nice juicy. price reasonable. View menu

I was to the breakfast in cafe oktober in Hamburg-Harburg. I took the watchmaker's breakfast. the portion is abundant, you will certainly be fed. mirror eggs with bacon were fried crispy. the ham was, however, cut very thick, which made it tough and almost inedible. the buns were quite pappy and made a warmed in impression, full-grain buns misdisplay. all so mediocre.

I'm disappointed from the oktober on the whole line. we were there with a bigger group and have booked sufficiently early. Nevertheless, we got a much too small table for 12 people, where we had to push ourselves. The service was friendly but hopelessly overwhelmed. the drinks were not brought together, but rushed and some also wrong. The eating is okay, nothing special. For me this was an experience I don't want to repeat.

the interior and the service were able to convince in this completely. you were attentive and friendly. But eating was not so good.I had a oktober toast, this was also in order but nothing great. put meat on toast with cheese baked, you get to home too and don't have to pay too high a price. My friend had a hacksteak which wasn't good. it was a simple deep cool hamburgerpaddy fried. for this the price is far too high and not good.We wouldn't come back here. we came spontaneously into the october in the evening. we ordered: a cake, a tee, a grapfruitschorle, an alcohol-free wine and an ice cream. We got: two cakes, a tee, a normal weeping and a Grapfruit apple slice.I would like to get what I order. I don't care if nobody else likes a pure grapfruitschorle. I like to drink this. otherwise I would have ordered almost others. the price was not appropriate. the service was nice. the cake TK-goods. like any chain designed for mass and not for quality. we wouldn't come back.

brunch on Sunday: the selection was good and sufficient. for example there were two different rolls, but no brot. the dishes were not labeled, so you had to ask for the sweet dishes and warm dishes. the food tasted, but was nothing special. for the price of 9,90 euro per person appropriate. many tellers were dirty. the personal was very nice. I just don't think it's very appropriate if you're the personal conversations louder than those of the guests. before all, when you have to listen to the level of speech, it was already annoying.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
