"After having a wander round the amphitheater area at restaurants decided to pick this one as looked busy and staff seemed friendly. Ordered a ham, mushroom and mozzarella pizza and a glass of Prosecco. The Prosecco was ok but the pizza was burnt and tasteless. I asked the waitress to come over and exchange it for something else as it was burnt and tasteless. She looked at me as if to say, it couldn’t possibly be… got another menu and ordered penne with salmon( what I could see of the crumbs) seriously they are charging people for this sort of food. Don’t actually bother with any of those restaurants in that area as there are many more down lots of side streets."

Ewww! Until this mistake, we said there are no bad restaurants in Lucca . Wrong. The Boar pasta had either no meat, or just some sand-grain size residue...

We had the pizza margarita an antipasti dish and bruschetta. The wait was annoying in my opinion it took to long to be served but the food was delicious!... View menu

Located in Piazza dell'Anfiteatro We just shared a pizza and had some drinks at this restaurant. Pizza was nice enough.. Just a quick snack really sitting outside the restaurant in the square in the sun !! No issues.
