"My husband, nephew and I visited Olives recently. I had been here once before and really liked it so decided to give it another go. Antipasti with Mozzarella was a feast which we struggled to finish. My main course was tuna which was light, fresh and tasty. The boys had the steak which came with rosemary potatoes and mixed peppers. Wine, 2 bottles!, was chosen by my husband, a really good M D'Abruzzo. The service by Lucio and Arianna was very good. A substantial meal for 3 for £140 was good value for what we ate. I will be visiting a third time.here once before and really liked it so decided to give it another go. The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly, and our waitress Imola was exceptional. This was the highlight of our recent trip to Europe.

This Italian restaurant offers simple yet delicious Italian food. The soup is consistently tasty, and the fish, pasta, and ice cream are all excellent. The service is friendly and overall worth a visit.

I go to olives for breakfast and I have to say they always deliver a nice breakfast without giving you the attitude some restaurants do. The food is good the staff is friendly and the place is spotless. I really like the Turkish breakfast too. Would go anytime.

We've previously eaten at this excellent Italian Restaurant located in The Millenium Bailey Hotel Gloucester Road, and once again we were not disappointed, to the contrary we were once again savouring their delightful lunch of thick creamy vegetable soup following by a fabulous grilled chicken and roasted broccoli dish absolutely scrumptious..... This lively and welcoming Italian restaurant is the perfect spot for a night out with friends. Conveniently located near Gloucester Rd tube station, it offers a great selection of food and wine at reasonable prices. The portions are generous, the food is beautifully cooked, and the service is friendly and efficient without any rush to leave. While the menu may not be super unique, we all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back for more.

Went with a colleague who had some news to share. Insisted on a table being served by Imola, as she is a wonderful person. I had Burrata to start and Prime Rib for mains, again! Washed down with Primitivo again! My guest had prawn starter which was spicy and succulent. Her main was another starter, beef carpaccio. Love it! When near South Kensington this is one to go, rather than sitting in a pub eating fish and chips while other people are watching a soccer match. Treat the woman/man/partner/friend in your life to something better.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
