"Beautiful discovery in the heart of Parma city centre. It's worth a visit. A great restaurant where you can taste different flavors of Italian cuisine. On the menu you will find both Parmesan and other Mediterranean recipes. As an appetizer I tried, and I recommend the Cavallo Pesto, which is a tartaric acid of horsemeat, typical in the area. Apparently the people of Parma use to queu outside butcher to get raw horse meat on Saturday. The first courses include beautiful pasta dishes. I tried the red gnocchi and they were really delicious. Second courts are also Italian, but did not find anything complicated to try. The list of desserts was fantastic. I tried the Millefoglie. The restaurant has a wide selection of wines, including special dessert wines. A starter, main course, glass of wine, water and dessert are around 35 euros."

We decided to eat around the corner from our apartment in Trastevere and Ombré Rosse did not disappoint. An excellent meal of a variety of things, topped off by the excellent service of Giuliano and Pablo. Grazie!

Ombre Rosse consists of two restaurants. The main has a fancier environment and the other that is right next to it has a more casual atmosphere and is actually called enoteca. The menu is the same in both. We ended in enoteca and were really satisfied with the service, food and ambience! They also offer gluten-free bread.

Went here for lunch with a big group of locals. Excellent torta fritta, prosciutto, pastas, wines, etc. Nothing to complain about in terms of the food. The service was painfully slow, however, and it took a trip to the kitchen by on of our Parma friends to get any action at all and our first bit of food. Could have just been an off day, but if this is typical, God help your average foreign tourist. Pleasant atmosphere an convenient location.

Delicious food in a lovely restaurant. Not far from the main piazza Garibaldi this little gem is tucked down a narrow side street. The menu offered a range of good options and there was a comprehensive wine list they nicknamed it the ‘Bible ‘. We chose the seared tuna, and pork with gorgonzola both excellent. Don’t miss the desserts we chose a crumble biscuit thing and a cheesecake. The staff were charming and after a lot of joking provided us with a menu in English. Wines are very fairly priced. You can get a super Chianti for about €30 40. Recommended
