"We as a family have been coming here for the past ten years, and we can never find fault with the food usually. It has recently been refurbished which is nice, thereby creating additional seating space. We have come back here after several months and we were shocked by how much they have increased their prices. A meal for 5 (two adults and three kids) that previously woud cost approx £60 yesterday cost an eye watering £93 ! Prices have been increased as if it were a fancy London restaurant which it is not. £4 for a single kulfi. £4 for a two piece gulab jamoon (thats £2 per piece). £3 for a single garlic naan. £7.50 for a tarka daal ! and £8 for a ladies finger Karahi. Mix grill for 2-3 people £29.50 ! They have also reduced the size of their seekh kebabs and now give you cheaper chicken seekh kebabs in the mixed grill (as well as lamb) which they never used to before. While I do understand that energy costs and the price of food stuffs have gone up recently, these price hikes are not sustainable, which probably explains why on a Saturday evening at 20:00 there were only a small amount of customers. If you hike up your prices so much for a clientele who are used to paying reasonable prices you will lose customers to the detriment of trying to increase your profits to cover your costs, to a degree. Needless to say, we shall not be visiting again any time soon. Oh by the way, our meal did not even include desert for all five of us and neither did any of order any soft drinks. If we had, the bill would have probably been circa £120-£125. Thanks but no thanks, we shall find a cheaper pakistani restaurant within the surrounding areas of which there are several. Sad really as we loved their grills"

Dropped in for lunch, so glad we did! Delicious chops, tikka and seek kebabs. Some tasty vegetable curry and spicy rotis. Perfect! Thanks for looking after us

The food is exceptionally tasty and prices are reasonable. The lamb biryani is the best. The man behind the counter (long hair) is very friendly and accomdating to all your needs. Great food for takeaway. I come from Gerrards Cross but food here is awesome. Sunny

Delivery took from 4.48 to 7 pm. Only ordered3 dishes. I am only about a 12 minute drive. They don’t work with deliveroo or uber eats anymore. They charge £5 to deliver and then it takes forever. Won’t bother in future. This was our Friday night takeaway, for years. Good food but not worth the wait.

This place used to be a reliable cheap eaterie, not anymore. Prices have gone up unfortunately the offering has got worse. This is possibly the worst Pakistani food I have had this year. Would be surprised if they have an acceptable Food Hygiene Score. The management definitely need to redo the kitchen, it 's not the best Not recommended.

experience 1: I had heard great things about original lahore and was therefore very excited to eat here. I liked eating here safe, but I definitely ate somewhere better. we ordered a part of tandoori huhn, mango leti, kadhai keema, roti and naan. I really enjoyed her tandoori chicken, but it was best in average. kadhai keema was to the top and so was her mango leti. the service and the ambiente were good. I will certainly return to the restaurant to review other items on their menu and probably a look at my review as I felt that the restaurant has much to offer in view of the number of people eating on a weekday. probably it was just a bad day...read more

Original Review:Beautiful simple atmosphere, consistent quality of food and efficient service. that's an old classic. my best article on the menu is by far the hacks. curries are tasty and not spicy. they lose a point due to the lack of innovation on the Dessert menu so I add after my last visit to my original review. the evaluation I gave was originally a 4 and has steeply reduced to 2. the service was without a courteous smile; functional. the kebabs were simply in order, the bargains were perfect, the curry was average and the naan was good. the only really good part of the meal was that the drink was served at a perfect temperature. we were not even asked if we wanted to dessert...read m...

My main gripe is with the food. So it was Eid and we came as a family booking for 15 people, arriving at the restaurant at 6:30 PM on Sunday 16th June 2024. The food quality was very poor, the food was not hot and the 4 tandoori mixed grills we ordered, were not even served on any sizzling trays, the kebabs that were part of the mixed grills were burned, the grills themselves were only warm to the touch and I suspect these were microwaved and prepared earlier, who knows, maybe left overs from another order that a customer did not pick up. We also ordered 6 jugs of mango lassie drinks and these were just diluted down with water, and did not have the natural taste of a mang lassie we were expe...
