Ottimo pranzo in una trattoria tipica senese con possibilità per le persone celiache di gustare pasta e pane senza glutine. Camerieri molto cordiali e disponibili. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, vivamente consigliato.

This place is absolutely stunning! The service provided is exceptional, and the quality of the food is outstanding. I personally savored the rabbit dish, while my husband enjoyed the delectable steak. As a complement, we chose to have the spinach and beans as our side dish, and they were absolutely delicious. siamo entrati per caso, bella trattoria, ambiente rustico. I piatti mi hanno sorpreso per bontà, ben preparati, saporiti e abbondanti. buono anche il vino della casa, servizio veloce ed efficiente, il cameriere ci ha portato il pane, eccellente, più volte senza che abbiamo chiesto. buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Torneremo

Sono stato ieri a cena in questo locale ed ho assaggiato alcuni piatti tipici senesi. Il cibo mi è sembrato ottimo ed il prezzo è stato onesto. Però quello che mi ha colpito e mi ha fatto andare via in fretta è stato il fatto che il locale si è molto affollato con tavoli molto ravvicinati e nessuno ci ha chiesto il green pass. Per questo motivo non posso di certo consigliarlo.

a una distanza di tempo siamo tornati più volte ed è sempre una conferma come bontà e prezzi. noi il greenpass lo ha mostrato all'ingresso e lo hanno controllato e andando presto eravamo soli nella sala. il cibo è grande e si spende il diritto. Viviamo in un periodo strano in cui le regole e i vincoli sono una necessità, ma con un minimo di accortezza si possono fare cene meravigliose senza mettere in difficoltà i ristoratori. View menu

Only come here if you’re prepared to wait more than an hour for your second course. Which only arrived after prompting the waiters a couple times to ask how long the food would take to arrive! Pasta meals ordered were not complicated and should have been ready much quicker! No apologies or any follow up service from waiters asking if we wanted anything further to eat or drink! Not a pleasant experience, probably the worst so far during our trip to Italy! Even the small takeaway pizza restaurant up the road which we tried the night before was much more appealing and had better more professional service!!

Abbiamo provato l'Osteria la Piana per il cenone di Capodanno e ci siamo trovati bene. Il locale si trova poco distante dal centro di Siena e all'interno è arredato in modo molto carino. I piatti della cena erano tutti molto buoni, con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, e siamo usciti sazi e soddisfatti. Il personale si è mostrato abbastanza gentile e i prezzi erano conformi all'offerta. Unica pecca è stato il mancato controllo del green pass che in un momento del genere, e soprattutto durante il cenone dove eravamo in tanti e tutti vicini, sarebbe stato gradito e mi avrebbe fatto passare la serata più tranquillamente.

I came here with my family for lunch before heading for the Piazza del Campo. We all had a lovely meal but my daughter had the Picio della Piana, a kind of tomatoey, garlicky pasta. It made such a great impression on her that she has spent the remainder of the summer trying to recreate it at home but felt that she was missing something. On the off chance I emailed the owner of Osteria La Piana to see if he could offer her any tips not really expecting to hear from him again. Imagine my surprise (and delight) when he emailed back after only a couple of hours with a walk through of how to cook the dish, I’d like to thank him very much for this and highly recommend a visit to his restaurant…..
