"Ristorante trovato segnalato su The Fork durante la ricerca di un posto dove pranzare di domenica. Abbiamo scelto La Locanda perché vicino e disponibile ma, in realtà, siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. Il ristorante è molto semplice, bello e in tema con il suo nome. Il menù non è ampissimo, pochi piatti (ad esempio non abbiamo visto primi ma direi fatti molto bene. Abbiamo scelto dapprima un tagliere di carne (classico ed uno vegetariano ma, data la qualità e bontà dei pezzi, abbiamo scelto di aggiungere un ulteriore tagliere. Ho apprezzato in particolare la qualità dei prodotti e il fatto che fossero preparati sul momento (verdure calde al punto giusto, pezzi di carne ottimi, salumi tagliati simil 'al coltello ' . "Maybe one of the best experiences in Tyrrhenian. I took a risotto of sea and a mixed fried accompanied by a firm white. at the first taste of the risotto I had sincere fear of having found it a little silly (for my goths) but I believed myself. was light, tasty and balanced in flavors. a nice dish to play with since there was a lot of fish and was well liked! the mixed fried was delicious. a light and friable batter, a fried as a God command or well dry without retrogoto of oil,. "We came here this year again based on our positive experience last year. Compared to last year the quality isn't just what it was, when we rated excellent, with a number of improvements necessary: The service is slow and the staff inexperienced. It seems locals are preferred over tourists. The music is way too loud. Dishes are collected on trolleys like in a Cantine and thus creating dish noise, not something pertaining to the level of this restaurant. Certain dishes like the anti pasti were very good while others were not acceptable. For example the tuna in the anti pasti was outstanding while the Squid in the mixed platter was unedible like chewing gum. Some of the deserts were also like industrial deserts. The restrooms are acceptable except that they are old and require complete redurbishing to be consistent with the level of the restaurant. All of this are small but important details that can be easily improved to get back to a consistent, distinguished level this restaurant pertains and is fully capable to have."

"RIP OFF. Following reviews we booked convinced we would find an Italian fish restaurant. Instead it is almost entirely sushi. We had specifically requested a table with a sea view and instead they wanted to seat us at a table at the back of the room. Endless grievances and alka fine table overlooking the sea. Menu where three pages are only of sushi and only half a page of Italian but with only 4 first courses and 4 second courses. Even the wine list with only 4 reds and 4 whites but all of mediocre quality but with prices as if they were exceptional. We took Paccheri and they brought us a plate with 12 Mezzi paccheri but completely drowned in a sauce full of oil. Asked for an Ombrina and they brought us a plate full of vegetables. Looking among the vegetables there was a piece of Umbrina but with an absolutely inedible flavor because it only tasted of fat. Conclusion we left everything. But the most absurd thing was the bill.
