"This restaurant is a definite one to miss, I had to write this review to let other diner's know how bad our experience was, Working in Highgate we decided to go for dinner and booked a table for 3 of us. First we ordered some starters which were worse than average at a high price and leaving one part of the starter off until we pointed it out. For our main course we ordered the special which was Seafood Pasta, when it came it was almost cold and smaller than a child's portion with the mussels also cold and have no taste, this dish was £14.95 I pointed all this out to the manager and he apologised without doing anything about it at all. The most annoying thing of all is when i asked for the bill, which was over £90 nothing was said so i paid under duress and felt that we were really badly ripped off. I have heard many bad reviews about Ostuni and now i know why. The whole meal was disgusting and cannot recommend anybody ever trying it there."

Great Zuccini fritti. Good vibrant atmosphere. Service was very slow. We complained that one salad was so salty it was inedible and nothing was done about it.

Lovely food. Great to have Italian food with a regional flavour, rather than the everyday, generic Italian which can be a bit predictable and dull. Love the dishes from Puglia!

Slightly limited main menu which was not really adaptable to our needs, but great variety of very good pizzas. I had the skirt steak which was excellent. Pleasant ambiance and friendly service, Will definitely return

Very good quality food with excellent vegetarian options lovely crunchy salad and delicious hand made pasta. Service was very attentive without being intrusive and happy to explain the Puglian ingredients and dishes and wines not cheap but well worth it for a special get together with old friends.

The service is slow and grumpy and apart from the starters the food was really quite poor especially the pasta which was heavy thick and left me feeling queasy. We complained about the worst of the pasta dishes and left it almost untouched but it remained on our bill. We then complained about an inedible semifreddo and very grudgingly it was taken off the bill.

Three girl friends meet up for each of their birthdays and we try to find a different venue each time. One of us is veggie so we always try to find a place where there is a good variety of veggie foods. The ambience in the Highgate Ostuni is great. Plenty of room between tables, continental farmhouse-like decor; all very pleasing. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food was delicious.
