"Trader Vic ́s Restaurant Mai Tai Bar The Trader Vic ́s Restaurant is a gastronomic worldview: embed in a lot of bamboo and dense green you will immerse yourself in the culinary world of the South Pacific in the middle of the city. The restaurant has the flair of the South Sea. The world-famous restaurant chain was founded by the trader Victor J. Bergeron. Since 1934 he traveled the Pacific island world and collected original recipes for food and drinks. He decorated the rooms with original bringers. Lots of wood, bamboo, mussels and handwork bear witness to much attention to detail. Each restaurant has its own atmosphere. In Hamburg's house it is the wooden boat cabin with the huge mast foot in which Jon Bon Jovi met his record company before the ECHO rental. Just escape from everyday life! The Atmosphere is fantastic and romantic, the prices are expensive but the food is very delicious. Anyone who wants to make an event from a dinner should book a table there. Always good for birthday or anniversary ; . The service is always very friendly and professional. The trader Vic's has an absolute cult character for me!! If I want to be relocated to the Kir Royal time, or there is a special occasion, I'd like to go here with friends. You can enjoy delicious food here, even if you just want a little snack, or you can drink through the phenomenal cocktail menu. Especially nice are always the little Menehune figures that you can take home. The prices are higher, but the good service and the quality and ambience are just right!! I hope the establishment will never fall victim to a modernization!!!

If I want to enliven the stress of everyday life and to pamper myself with delicious cocktails and South Sea feelings, then I go to the trader Vic ́s in the basement of the Bavarian court. The prices are somewhat high but the Asian specialties and the Polynesian ambience are simply unique. Whether for a romantic evening to two or in a social round among friends, there will be a special experience every evening. You should book in time to get a place there. My favorite drinks there are the Mai Tai and the zombie, but intentionally they are worth their price!

Yesterday (29.4.2017) I read an article about Christian Hümbs, the world class Patissier. There he answered questions about his career and work on television and the last working days in Hamburg. Gestern (29.4.2017) habe ich noch einen Artikel über Christian Hümbs, den Weltklasse Patissier, gelesen.   Dort beantwortete er Fragen zu seinem Werdegang und zur Arbeit im Fernsehen und über die letzten Arbeitstage in Hamburg.   Bei Sat 1 ist er Juror beim „Großen Backen“.
