Papa John's Portslade

I went there while studying abroad. For lunch, you can eat pizza for 2.5 pounds, so I highly recommend it.

We use this Pizza hub for our treats on Friday evenings. They always supply what we ordered and in good time.

This is the second time I have attempted to place an order in the last month, and both times they did not have enough drivers and ended up cancelling my order. View menu

Last order arrived 1hr15 was not impressed, usually have a quick delivery as only 2 roads away from mine. When I tried to call several times there was no answer.

Pizzas are nice when they don 't arrive 15mins late and stoned cold. Useless delivery driver went round in circles for 15mins before dropping off cold pizzas. This is the second time this happened. There won 't be a third chance. No customer service either 'complain on the website ' was the advice from the shop.

I’ve paid extra to have dairy free options, but didn’t get them. Ordered vegan cheese tots, was sent a small portion of plain one, as they ran out of vegan cheese. Didn’t cancel the order, were just going blag it!! I also ordered the vegan papadias and there must be a quarter of a green pepper and a mushroom thinly sliced on it, and needless to say NO VEGAN CHEESE. It’s a joke!!! View menu

Food took 2 hours to Arrive. Tried calling the shop 10 times during the wait, with no answer. I ended up calling a different branch to check if portade was open. They confirmed it was however they had run out of dough. Poor customer service, if theres a problem you should let your customers know, rather than ignore the phone. When I eventually got through to Portslade on the phone they tried to say other reasons as to why it was taking so long. No excuse for the lack of communication.

Used these several times and always no problems. However last time there was a mistake with our pizza toppings, causing upset and disappointment for our Son. However, The manager Dora and the shift supervisor Mohamed could not have been nicer. Their customer service is absolutely outstanding. They offered a brilliant and unexpected resolution for the mistake and have proven to me that genuine great customer service still exists and that it isn't always just about profit. They have confirmed us as permanent customers with their customer service. All in all good pizzas and sides, reasonably priced. Thank you

Alfie made my pizza and it was incredible give him a raise pls. One of the best pizzas I 've had in my entire life. If I had a time machine and could go back to any point in time I would go back to here so I can experience the extreme euphoria from such an incredible pizza. God from the bible said anything is possible with god , but I still do not believe the omnipotence and omniscience of God could create such a divine pizza. The mere existence of such a pizza points to the future success of the human race and puts to shame all the pessimists spreading nihilism and proclaiming the downfall of the world and that getting worse, ie i miss 2019.
