"ich hatte mit meiner freundin für gestern abend reserviert. man wies uns einen kleinen zweier tisch zu und übergab uns sofort die speisekarte. auch die getränke wurden sehr schnell gebracht. der gutschein aus dem schlemmerblock 2024 wurde gerne entgegengenommen. ein gleichwertiges oder günstigeres hauptgericht gratis . wir bestellten beide cordon bleu mit pommes die alternative wären rosmarien kartoffeln gewesen . die speisen dauerten etwas länger als normal, das lokal war aber auch bis auf den letzten platz gefüllt. dann kamen für jeden ein grosses cordon bleu und ein schüsselchen mit pommes mit einer kleinen salat deko und einer guten curry sauce. das essen war sehr gut und auch sehr reichlich. wir hatten uns vorgenommen, noch ein dessert zu essen ... das vergassen wir schnell wieder, so gesättigt waren wir. und auch der preis war sehr akzeptabel. ein so grosses cordon bleu für € 15,90 ... da kann man nichts dagegen sagen. insgesamt: ein wirklich schöner abend mit sehr nettem personal und sehr gutem essen. an der wand hängt ein diplom 1. platz beim schlemmerblock gutscheinheft award . sehr zu recht! :"

Wir wurden freundlich im Restaurant begrüßt. Die Gerichte von Salat, Burger, fränkische Küche wie auch Nachtisch waren alle sehr liebevoll angerichtet und lecker. Papa Walter ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Das Essen war durch die Bank nicht gewürzt. Blaukraut aus dem Glas nur erhitzt keine Gewürze. Cordon bleu war von der Größe und Preis akzeptabel aber auch fad. Keine Gewürze zum nachwürzen auf den Tischen. Der Hammer war das Schnitzel meiner Tochter. 10 cm Durchmesser 14,50 Euro. Auf die Frage wie groß das kinderschnitzel für 8,90 Euro ist kam nur das das Schnitzel ja aus dem Schmetterling Lachs geschnitten ist. Ein Witz. Schäuferle oberste Schicht kalt. Kruste fad.

Das Lokal war voll, die Küche offenbar überfordert, denn das Essen war mangelhaft, die Klöße nicht durchgegart, die Kruste des Schäufele war weich und labberig, sowohl Schäufele als auch der Sauerbraten zäh und nicht sauer. Es war eher ein weihnachtlich gewürzter Rinderbraten. Salat gab es um 19:30h keinen mehr. Die Bedienung war nett und auf Bemängelung beider Hauptspeisen gab es als Trostpflästerchen e i n e n Schnaps aufs Haus. Ein weiteres Mal werden wir nicht dort einkehren.
