"I hadn't been to the Draycote for a while, even pre-lockdown. it just fell off our list for some reason. it was a joy to return and to see that the enforced closure time was put to good use with the place being given a makeover and now looking very spruce. There were 3 of us for dinner, and we opted to go for deserts rather than starters. Two of us had the lamb rump, which was all that it should be: moist, slightly pink and lots of flavour. The vegetables were exactly the right texture (not overcooked) and the presentation was really good. if we hadn't been so busy chatting I would have taken photos! The other member of our party had the sea bass, which was light and well presented. For desert, two of us had the panna cotta, which was to die for! I'd come back just for the desert. The third member of our party considers himself to be a sticky toffee pudding expert, and the Draycote's offering definitely passed the test. Thanks to the staff at the Draycote, who were friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back in the near future."

I have eaten at this restaurant for breakfast on a few occasions now. It’s always very nice with a great selection. The hotel staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I will continue to visit!

The buffet breakfast at this restaurant was wonderful, with a wide variety of hot and cold options. They offered plenty of fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, and a satisfying cooked breakfast. I appreciated the option of choosing between bread or a roll as well.

Since the new owners came in 2019 this place has really soared. The restaurant produces a great breakfast (I'm there every week for a breakfast business club) and the service and offerings in general area great. A REALLY good place to meet, eat and enjoy great food and service. I've had lunches here too, and again, you can trust the venue to look after your celebration, event etc and offer really great food.

We hosted a Sunday lunch at the Draycote hotel restaurant for our daughter's 18th birthday with 14 guests. The event took place in the boardroom and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The events team was amazing in preparing for the day and everything was set up for me to decorate the room. Ian, our host, was excellent and assisted us whenever needed. I was especially grateful for his help in slicing the cake. The staff were wonderful and the food was of high quality. Everyone had a great time and I highly recommend Draycote hotel restaurant for any occasion, whether it be a large family gathering or a Sunday lunch. It was a superb and unforgettable experience. We will defi...

"Visited this place for the first time last night and have to say the service was really really poor from the second we walked through the door. Our table was booked for 7.45pm we didn’t get seated till 8.20pm and when the young girl seated us there was no apologies for waiting and she came across very blunt..the soup starter was lovely but the bread was a let down it was like cake and the bread with that brown sauce on ruins the bread it tasted pretty nasty,my friend liked the bread but said that the sauce ruined it. The bread to me just wasn’t very nice I make home made bread myself and this was pretty poor it tasted nothing like homemade bread. For the main I had a medium rare steak the steak was very raw inside you may aswell have just gave me a cow mooing and only the sides had been touched it was cold in the middle!! and warm on the outside (I ate it as I was so hungry I had been working all day and came straight home dressed and out again) but it had not been cooked properly to how I like it, I felt funny after eating the steak. The service was really poor one lad said to us “have you finished with that” nearly everybody spoke so lazy there was no professionalism. There was only one person who stood out as I overheard him serve another table and he was very welcoming and professional he was wearing all black and was also working on the bar he had dark blond ish hair and spoke gentle,I hope your paying him well because his manners etc is impeccable and he was very polite to us when he served us upstairs at the bar."
