"We had the takeaway fish and chips from Park yesterday. We were very pleased and reassured with the spotless conditions and safety measures. The fish and chips were great, really huge portions even though we had the OAP choice very nice and also a very reasonable price! And we were impressed by the notice on the wall advertising access toilet! I enquired and was handed a key to the loo a few doors up. When I got round the corner, the lovely barista was waiting for me from the side door, pointing me to the toilet next door. Pristine toilet, too! We were very impressed firstly by the fish and chips and also the toilet access. Beautiful, kind people! Cannot praise them too highly!"

This is quite a new fish and chop shop in Street, located near a park in Merriman roadThe fish here is exceptional, and excellent value for money.

"The best fish and chips on the street! I had a large haddock on Saturday, July 30th and it was fabulous. I really enjoyed it, the batter was lovely. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work. Please keep it up, you guys are amazing. Thanks again, Gordon."

While staying at a nearby caravan park, we decided to avoid cooking and search for gluten-free chip shops. We were thrilled to find this gem of a place, as they were very careful about cross-contamination. The fish and chips were delicious, and we decided to try a gluten-free battered sausage as well. It was incredible - I'm not sure what kind of sausage they use, but it's the best I've ever tasted. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely service and very funny waiter. I got my order wrong, but the waiter was very patient and helpful. Best fish and chip shop in Mendip. No queue. And very fresh and cripsy fish. And the chips were lovely and not at all soggy. He was very generous and gave me a free piece of childrens cod for my daughter. I will definitely go back. Was a lot nicer than the one we usely go to West end, in street . The one we usely go to is also very busy. The food is absolutely delicious. I fully recommend it :

We were in Street today and made straight for Park Fish Chips for the best fish (large moist flakes in perfect golden batter) that we've ever had anywhere! And so reasonable for such huge portions! Fabulous food served with their specially home made tartare sauce in a cute little pot we love those lovely, jolly and helpful staff, always smiling and only too pleased to hand over the key for the loo! A nice touch this, in addition to being the best fish and chips ever did I just say that? Well, it's true! We were able to sit outside this time. Not long now before we can sit inside! Roll on!

I went to this restaurant just to get some chips since I follow a gluten-free diet. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of gluten-free options on their menu in addition to the chips. They even had garden peas and mushy peas, which is a nice touch for those looking for less processed options. I decided to try the scampi, a childhood favorite that I hadn't had in years, and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient, despite being very busy. I truly enjoyed the food and will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant for their great food and accommodating menu for those with dietary restrictions.

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"
