"Tried the buffet for dinner based on a friend's recommendation. Very elaborate set-up with about 18 dishes (veg and non-veg). There is also a pani puri station as well as a dosa station and a small dessert table. Price is $17-18 per adult. Liked how...the food was set up in large metal pots and the use of street carts like tables. Of course, with all this variety you have to try a few dishes. Thats where one stuffs his face with all the food. Food itself was tasty for most part. Liked the goat curry, chilli chicken and some of the vegetarian dishes. Did not care about the butter chicken as this was too sweet for my liking. Fresh warm naans were served on the table. We had a good experience overall."

This restaurant used to be fantastic years ago, but unfortunately it has gone downhill like many others. There seems to be a lack of quality and care now. Even though it's under the same ownership, they have lost all their talented chefs to a competitor down the street.

I am a vegetarian and my wife is an omnivore. Both of us have had plenty of food to select from. The taste and quality of the food are great. One of my friends is taking me out for a birthday celebration and asked where...I wanted to go. We are going to Passage to India and I can't wait.

I dined at Passage to India restaurant in December 2019. The service was good and the food was authentic, tasty, and offered a great variety. The buffet menu may be a better option than the Ala-carte menu, especially on certain days (Thursday to Sunday) when the restaurant serves buffet dinners.

eating is really bad. I don't think I'm going to order india again from time to time. I ordered golden fried prawns, the cover was not cost, prawn vindaloo and prawn curry both have a lot of oil and even though both different...taste, both have the same taste (to be honest, I don't think it has taste, it has only many flavors) View menu

The buffet at this restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes at a great value. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection and quality of food for the price of $15-17 per person. The freshly made naan served directly to our table was a nice touch. The only area that could use some improvement is the dessert selection.

Went there for Christmas Day dinner buffet. Food was delicious. There was a large variety of curries, noodles, rice, paneer, fried appetizers, and breads. My favorite part of the buffet was the dessert. There were so many desserts to choose from, among them being plum...pudding, mango soft-serve ice cream(ABSOLUTELY delish), warm bread pudding, and delicious cake, gulab jamun, and rasmalai. So much variety and delicious food! I will be visiting again.

As we entered the restaurant, we noticed comfortable seating arrangements, and large spread of vegetarian and meat based items. Made to order Dosa and self-help counter of paani poori was pleasant surprise. Choice of starters and main dishes is wonderfully large. Desert counter has good...choices too. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Nan and drinks that you order are served at the table. Overall service is good. This was our second visit, and the experience was consistent. View menu

Our last visit in 2016 was a great disappointment as we had been a regular in previous years before leaving the area. Reluctantly, we returned to find that the food was much improved and the service from a young waiter outstanding. than I can...say for our reception. We were ushered to a table by the owner while he was speaking on a cell phone as though we were doing a favor to visit. Complimenting the owner at the end of the meal was an unforgettable experience as he walked away.. Apart from that I complement the quality of food, cleanliness and service. A big improvement from our last visit.

Our family used to eat here regularly when we lived in the neighborhood. We decided to stop in as we were visiting near by. They love Indian food but I'm not a huge fan. The rest of the family raves about the buffet line up....Even though I underappreciate Indian cuisine there are many dishes anyone would like. Servers are quick to bring water, take drink orders and bus the table. Buffet line is orderly and clean. The food is kept at appropriate temps so you're not eating a lukewarm dish when you get it back to your seat. Prices are about $15, not including drinks, so it's not going to break the back.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
