"During our visit to the Christmas markets in December, my family and I dined at this restaurant and were so pleased with our experience that we returned for a second meal. The staff was incredibly welcoming, spoke English fluently, and were patient with my attempts to speak German. The menu offered a wide variety of options to suit everyone's tastes, and the food was fantastic with generous portion sizes. The beers were delightful, and the decor brought back memories of my trips to Munich. If I ever find myself in Berlin again, I would definitely visit this restaurant. Thank you!"

Bavarian food in Berlin. Very nice German food, tasty and big portion. Now inside with better weather outside too. Amazing friendly staff.

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but once we found it, it was a great spot to grab a beer and indulge in some delicious German cuisine. The staff was welcoming and the service was fast.

Home of one of my favorite beers, this place also serves good food and provides an interesting rustic ambiance. Their extensive menu is available in English. If you have trouble finding it, the place really is in a bit of an alley, but it's easy once you go down the path.

This was our first meal in Germany because our hotel was only a minute's walk and we were too tired to go anywhere else. The beers were excellent, as was the service. Their entrees are immense. My wife and I shared one and still didn't finish it. Prices are quite reasonable.

We got in at lunch time, found a table in few minutes and ordered and eat rapidly... Tipical furniture, personelle in traditional costumes, kind and fast. Big portion, price on average...think about how much u eat before ordering..plates for two could be also for tree o four... Enjoy!

Good and generous typical German brasserie. Not really vintage but clearly wants to be traditionnal. Don't expect for vegan food. It's really traditional food, well prepared, generously served by efficient and welcoming waiters. Presence of locals shows that Paulaners is correct choice. Beer of course is excellent : Paulaner is a brewer from Munich !

What a disappointment! A truly awful experience. The welcome was unpleasant, and by 7:30 p.m. the restaurant had nothing left to offer in terms of dishes. The waiter's attitude was cold and unpleasant. The food, served after an hour of waiting, was dry and tasteless. We couldn't even finish it. There was no apple juice or tap water for the kids. I highly recommend avoiding this place! Don't fall for this tourist trap. Berliners are lovely people, but not in this establishment.

I’ve enjoyed this wonderful restaurant for several years now and have recommended it to friends visiting Berlin. Typical German/Bavarian food, large portions, reasonable „business lunch“ on workdays. I have eaten many meals of all kinds- vegetarian (such as eggs w yummy fresh vegetables, and a portion of potatoes) to fish to meat to soup and salad, and desserts. I haven’t had anything I didn’t love, neither did my family. Highly recommend. They offer an English menu if you ask.

We arrived for a late dinner, walking from out hotel. Welcomed immediately and shown to our table. Service was prompt, with the right amount of time after receiving our delicious Hefeweizen before taking our meal order. Food arrived in short order, hot and delicious. I asked for a substitution on a side dish which was immediately granted. Portions were generous so it was a challenge to leave room for the Apple Strudel. Very pleased with the meal, service, and the overall experience. I have mobility issues so the only problem is that the restroom is located up a flight of stairs.
