"best late zle in hamburg, handgekabed as in Swedish! maul bags like with my oma, folding carving with crocheted raised panad, the best spanish crocheted necklace worldwide! dreamlike white juice goulasch and perfectly homemade mmelknödel. paulaner light and furstenberg pils from the barrel and cultivated weine in rustic atmosphere with tables of solid maple wood as in southern Germany or Austria. the service is attentive and always has a good word without being intrusive. the southern German is excellently added with international appetizers like gambas al ajillo or original iberian pata negra ham. on the afternoon there was a cheese fondue, which was also very tasty and praised by the guests. we can visit the next one. very many masters who know what is a good sign, as well as the urgent need to reserve a table. we can hardly expect the end of the lockdown. a visit in paula sthet dan at our top of our culinary to-do list!"

pity, have always eaten very well in pastness and the service was always top. apparently there was a change of the peculiarity – he did not do it well. very zigzag service, portion much smaller, prices much higher. very bad. View menu

super service and great food. very rarely you find such a pearl! only a pity that the menu is so small, there are actually no appetizers and at dessert also only two offers. that's high quality, but for us, unfortunately, a star has to go.

from outside rather inconspicuous, then it bangs in so much more! Here it fits easily: an inaccessible, competent and very nice service in connection with a sensational kitchen. we have the tomahawk tranches a real moment of pleasure! thanks for a really nice evening in almost family atmosphere. of us 5 stars!

I don't think I've ever seen such a bad behavior on the phone when I order the table. I was called three times and released three times, although I wanted to redeem the group voucher. I canceled the voucher right away, because such a native deserves me nix. I am unconstitutional about such statements, but the reviews speak for themselves, I am not the only one that looks like it. well maintained gastfreundschaft as in bayern, Austria and württemberg. autentic kitchen the white juicy is the best in hamburg, the thorny frying with hand cut late zle a dream and the swarm frying with crispy crust a dense. but also the tapas are grandiose, also well maintained weine and a freshly tapped forstenbergpils or paulan dunchner bright, all too moderate preisen. they would not expect to march in high price.

that is what one understands in southern Germany and Austria as well-maintained hospitality. lovingly furnished with a lot of massive high quality wood. autentic kitchen, the best white sapgulasch hamburgs, swirl roast with hand-padded late zle and roast sauce as in the remstal and a crust on the swath roast that you feel directly after a few. good wee and fresh forstenberg pils or süffiges paulaner bright from the barrel. friendly service and very civilian prices, especially for elbvororte.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
