"the outdoor dining room is well placed under the trees offering a welcome shade of the burning sun. a good range of snacks and meals are available from the menu map and a special was also offered. I opted for the special dish of tuna steaks grilled to 18 euros served by a careful waitress who spoke English well. Even if she was very busy, she took the time to make a little conversation. a large glass of pressure beer was a very refreshing accompaniment to the meal. If I'm back in the dark again, I'll certainly make another visit."

a overworked server to serve many tables leads to customer frustration, but at least it is a nice place to rest.

40 minutes. Nobody took care of us. We've only ordered water for a short time. Nice frame. Avoid this place unless you have infinite patience.

it's a nice place and we were thirsty and we visit this garden of bears: bad service, the drinks were good, we had to pay a beer of wheat and water 12.5 euro

we stopped for a quiet lunch in the gqrden before climbing the tower. I bought the fries steak. I found it very well. very rare with a tasty sauce to soak. very well located and choice of ice.

We were seduced by the coffee between the water and the diane temple, descending the hill of the magne tower to nîmes and were delighted with the location, service and simple and delicious cuisine. I can't do better for a sunny day.

My wife and I recently lunched at this restaurant situated in a beautiful location in right by the fountains in Nimes. It was a very nice day to sit outside and sample the carte du jour, which was a very tasty white fish. The service was great, the wine good and the price reasonable. Best of all, it was open on a Sunday, when most restaurants were not.

we stopped here after visiting the gardens and the diane temple, by a hot day. the shady and welcoming outdoor dining room looked so attractive, but the service was a little slow and irregular. the location could not be better located, right next to the Roman ruins and overlooking the gardens. there was a salad and a dish of the day, both quite suitable, more than 500 ml of water and the total was only 22 €, so certainly a good value for money.

"Enoteca has only been going 6 months or so which may explain the lack of reviews on TripAdvisor but don't let that put you off dining here. We'd been staying close by for the week and hadn't realised at first that this restaurant is also linked to a great little deli about 10 doors down on the same rue. So you have two great places to discover! We stopped in there for a glass of wine first in the last of the days sun before heading to the restaurant for dinner. The owner is a lovely, attentive guy who is clearly very passionate about his Italian produce; food and wine! Over dinner we were well looked after and shared delicious burrata as starter, followed by two authentic Italian pasta dishes for main course. The beef in mine was rich and tender, obviously having been cooked for hours. Dessert were small coffees with a delicious citrus mouse on the side and plenty of biscotti biscuits to dip. Drinks wise we'd enjoyed a glass of white at the deli but moved onto passionfruit spritz for aperitifs followed by a delicious Nero d'Avola to match our mains. This red was fantastically smooth and fruity, with no hint of tannins in the after taste. I was surprised that the place wasn't packed out on a Friday night but there is a festival in town for a couple of days so that could be keeping people busy, but this place will surely gain in popularity and in the rankings in Nimes very soon. Recommend this Italian restaurant which suits this French city drenched in Roman history!"
