Lovely food stopped off on our way to Holyhead. It's not on the route but if you have plenty of time well worth the small detour.

Sunday lunch a pleasure. Excellent beef and definitely finish with the pavlova. Roast potatoes a bit sad but only low point of a lovely meal.

Very well run restaurant. Very clean, with stylish decoration and many local historic photographs, many of Rydal school. Service was impeccable, delicious tasty food, well priced.

Good atmosphere Food was good quality, my only criticism would be the portions could have been slightly bigger. Staff were helpful but did have to wait a little to get the bill, but the food came quickly when we ordered it.
