Santa Maria was opposite our hotel so we used is as our late nightcap drinks, not for food. Enrica served us every night with wonderfully mixed cocktails and was the the best barman. He started mixing as soon as we walked through the front door. Lovely place for a wind down, lovely cocktail maker! Thanks, Enrico!

Scam. Avoid avoid avoid! They add 15% to the bill which I have no problem with for service but then if you do not add an additional tip they try to tell you the 15% is government tax and not for service. Thieves! Avoid...like the plague. Food average anyway, thousands of nicer places to eat in Rome with decent people.

posto discreto vicino alla stazione Termini...staff delicato pulito ma freddo, piatti per nulla legati ai prezzi..18€ per un hamburger (troppo cotto) e patatine sembra eccessivo... Mi aspettavo un costo molto più basso data la vicinanza alla stazione e il nome “ taverna romana”. Eravamo in tre, abbiamo preso due hamburger, un passato di verdure con riso, patate fritte, patate al forno, un dessert, un'acqua, due coke cola, caffè e un tè. per un totale di 98,5€. incertamente un po' costoso View menu

I would echo the review below unfortunately. Food is very basic, of average quality and overpriced. Exactly as the review below states they tell you the city tax is 15% when it is only 5%! The staff make out that you should leave them service...in addition to the 15% on the bill and argue with you if you challenge the tax rate! Luckily we’d eaten in a restaurant 2 streets away the previous night so we were aware the tax was supposed to be 5% Avoid and go somewhere authentic with great food!

tutto il posto è davvero attraente. il voto giusto sarebbe 3 palle ma ne metto uno di più perché posso dire che ho mangiato qui uno dei migliori carbonare: 'la cottura perfetta e l'uovo cremoso, la guancia eccellente e il pecorino. per il resto, a parte la cordialità del cameriere, niente che merita un segnale particolare. Il conto va bene. P.S al momento del pagamento ho avuto solo un pre-account: certamente per una sfortunata dimenticanza non ha seguito la richiesta canonica se era sufficiente la ricevuta o se avevo bisogno della fattura. ma poi è stato sufficiente per sottolineare e tutto è stato risolto.
