"Once there's no one, you say. Or just too much. Since 1984, the pancake house in the Calenberger Neustadt has already been pfann tastisches and already at the entrance to the restaurant it is easily believed that the pancake house has already been lifted out of baptism in the 80s. At least in the last nearly thirty years interior design and furniture seem to have hardly been renewed. The guest takes place on well-worn benches between a collection of models, Ramsch and Trödel. In addition, the smoker room separated by an open passage flows unhindered into the guest room after cold ashes, where it is allowed to mix with the frying grease aroma from the semi-open kitchen, only to deposit on the cutlery that is kept open on each table in small baskets. This may be practically meant, hygienic it is not in view of the fact that every guest has to grasp the basket with his more or less unclean hands. Now one can stand for such things as one wants, even find them original. At least the food would be useful. If a trivial dish like a pancake is now a problem, you think. But that's still happening. Only the first inventory in terms of menu woke my habit. Imagine the menu of a good-bourgeois restaurant of the 80s and think about the standard dishes just a pancake as a basis. Well, that may be a matter of taste, but pancakes with brown cabbage and bregenwurst sound very astonishing to me. In the absence of a larger selection for vegetarians, I chose the pancake Tuscany the obligatory infallible tomato mozzarella variant. With a proud 8,90 €, the pancake made the spaghetti Aglio e Olio hot competition, which is commonly known as the court with the highest profit margin. A price that would have been justified from my point of view only if a) excellent ingredients were used or b) the portions would have been luxuriant. But neither the one, nor the other, met the fried fladen, which was finally served me. Although from the category degreasy, an almost unpleasant sweetness dominated the pancakes, which may have come from the balsamic cream. Pancake and mozzarella, on the other hand, had no taste of their own. Also tasteless was the coating of the Green Minna, the pancake of my accompaniment. Cheapest sheep cheese immitate without any taste and abundant foliage spinach. Hungry I even tried on the sad salad dress from some leaves iceberg salad and a tomato slice, which tastefully did nothing to the pancake. For me an absolute disappointment."

There is no choice if you want to enjoy the pancake in the restaurant in Hanover. The pancake house sets the concept semi-solid and you can visit it again and again. expensive for pancake law expensive and it reminds as if the whole is stuck in the eighties. But the staff is friendly and tasteful, you cannot complain.

The ambience is not so mine, the whole shop is a mixture of the Stdentenkneipe, Landgasthof and Oktoberfestzelt. But the selection of hearty and sweet pancakes (all under 10 euros) is just as delicious as curious. My favourite is the one with lamb and green pepper, but also with curryhuhn and mushrooms. That's two, three times a year.

For the first time, I visited the pancake house a few years ago with my training for farewell dinner and was pleasantly surprised as I had already compared homemade in my head with grandmothers. Despite a large trophies, food came relatively at the same time. I was also surprised by the quite extensive selection that a certain selection for almost any taste, from sweet to deculent, small, large, lush or economical. In most cases, the dishes have also convinced, in my opinion a pleasant size not too much, not too little, but my husband occasionally orders a 2. The service staff was always friendly and polite, as well as the prices were slightly higher than expected, but still within the scope...

"In my opinion, the top of the Italian restaurants in Hanover. Location and contact: Roy's restaurant is a bit hidden in the eastern city between Hamburger Allee and Eilenriede. Kitchen is available on Tuesday to Saturday until ~22:00, so a later visit at 21:00 is still possible. Unfortunately, you cannot take dogs, which is understandable in local size. Food: Great! As it belongs to Italian raised cuisine, the ingredients are excellent. The card is clearly kept small, but wide enough that there is something for every taste. But that's only half the rent. What Roy's is for me about Tesoro, Castello, Leonardo (also all worth a visit: etc.) is the extraordinary attention to detail, both in presentation and taste. The flavor combinations are partly simple, partly refined, but always at least with everything I have tried there so far and a true joy for the palate. You taste and see the love of the individual dishes Ambience: Roy's restaurant is small and cozy, with a modern flair and personal decoration. The small restaurant impresses with warm Ambient Lighting and from lasy to excitedly graceful background music. Service: The service also fits the atmosphere. We were received with cordiality and humour, and were supplied with extraordinarily good care. Conclusion: A real gem of Italians and, in my opinion, also after many visits, one of the best places in the city, just like the best Italian in Hanover. 5/5*, top class."
