"Vietnamese spring roll and Pho Bo have been one of my husband's and my favorite food. We actually wanted to try different menu at first, but ended up ordering those two. After all we would like to have comparisons among vietnamese restaurants and those two...menus are considered the basics. If it can go wrong with only the basic, why bother trying the others. At first glance, the prices were above the average prices of Vietnamese restaurants in Germany. For example, a big bowl of Pho Bo costed 11.90 EUR, while normal average price of a Pho Bo is 7.90-9.90 EUR. I think it is probably an upper scale restaurant. But, it is definitely worthwhile because the soup base was super delicious. The restaurant claims that the soup base is cooked thoroughly for 24 hours! However, what makes a good Pho Bo is not only the soup, but also the beef, and I think the restaurant overlooked the quality of the beef in the Pho Bo. The beef inside the Pho was not tender enough and too little for the price of almost 12 EUR. The fried spring rolls we ordered were also good, but maybe the portion could be improved (one portion came in 2 small pieces). Otherwise, the other things were good: friendly staffs, nice ambience, good presentation of food."
