"This is a fantastic place like no other. The owner seems to know everyone and greets all his customers with a smile. The area is small but well stacked with quality food products and at the back is a small open kitchen where Ambrose, the owner, prepares sandwiches using various kinds of bread or baquetas using a selection of fresh fillings selected by each customer. Different types of snacks are available including fruit and juices.Ambrose has a good espresso coffee machine which he handles to perfection and prepares exquisite coffee or any other type of drink.His shop is like a mini village shop and no matter how dull the day is outside, all his customers receive a warm welcome and smile on entering . If you have never been there, give it a try,you won’t be disappointed"

We buy our bread from Picnic On The Green most days as they have a good selection the best freshly made bread in the village The staff are so helpful friendly remember what their customers normally buy.

They might seem expensive but it's the same or only slightly more than other sandwich places in the area BUT theirs is much better the owner is so friendly helpful. I'd walk a bit further to go to them.

Great service! They sell pastries, sandwiches, salads, coffee and bread! Everything is so good! Sandwiches and salads have a set price even though you get to decide completely on your own what you want in them! I go here a few times a week!

Lovely little shop in Englefield Green with lots of different foods. Their fresh bread is amazing with lots of variety, breads I've never tried but look forward to try in the future. Their homemade smooties are perfect on a hot day to cool down with.
