"The restaurant is the small town of El Bolao, in the route of the medieval castles of the region of Madrid. It is a good stop in the middle of a touristic journey. it is easily accessible and it is plenty of parking space in the area, duly signed and free of charge. Staff is kind, competent and not intrusive. Food is of good quality and well cooked as per Spanish standards. There is good assortment of starters for any taste. As main course there is fish and meat in good balance. Price is commensurate to value. To sum up an area worth a visit and a restaurant worth the stop."

"Restaurante Parra es uno de los mejores restaurantes de Manzanares El Real, un pequeño pueblo cerca de una fuera de horas de Madrid que es popular entre los excursionistas que buscan explorar las cascadas y simas del parque de La Pedriza o visitar el Castillo nuevo inmaculado de Manzanares el Real. Habíamos pasado una larga mañana salir de excursión en el frío y queríamos encontrar un rústico y acogedor restaurante donde pudimos repostar con un poco de calor, la satisfacción de la comida de montaña. Restaurante Parra demostró ser la elección perfecta. Nos instalamos y pedimos una botella de vino tinto caluroso y una orden de mollejas a la parrilla para un iniciado. Las mollejas eran untuoso, sabroso, y rociados con aceite de oliva pimentón-pinchos que les dio un sabor único. Entonces, mi esposa tiene una pierna de cordero asado (lechazo como su conocido localmente) y me dieron un filete de solomillo fuerte hecha con carne local Guadarrama. La carne literalmente se derretía en la boca y el lechazo tenido esa mezcla irresistible de humo, la piel crujiente y la carne jugosa, graso. En resumen, que habíamos encontrado la comida que estábamos buscando. El precio de la botella de vino, plato, dos platos principales (que, para ser justos, podría haber sido compartida pero estábamos muy hambrientos), y el desierto salió a alrededor de 75,00. Es un poco más alto que nuestro presupuesto normal de la comida, pero es más que razonable si usted está buscando para disfrutar de un almuerzo especial de cordero asado rústico en las montañas. En conjunto, un lugar impresionante. Compruébelo usted mismo si estás en la zona."
