"Visited with family for a Sunday lunch and to celebrate a birthday. The decor was clean and smart. The staff were friendly and the menu was exactly what I would expect from a country pub. I had the haloumi with chilli jam to start and followed that with the pork loin. Food was very good although the gravy was very watery and soaked the plate. I would prefer to have it served separately as I like my gravy quite thick. I had the crumble for dessert but it was huge and I barely made a dent in it. Overall very enjoyable and I would happily eat here again."

I hope Glen, Nichol and ben get a lot of support, not only from Pentlow but further afield. The food is excellent.

Popped in on Friday and took advantage of a Burger and beer deal £10, good selection and take away options available too. Open Thursday Sunday.

The beer is delicious and the food is fantastic. The burgers are especially amazing - I highly recommend them. The service is great, and I wish this local restaurant all the success.

The portion of chicken thighs in JD bbq sauce was very small, as was the serving size of the spicy rice, which lacked flavor and seemed like it was just microwaved. It was very disappointing. View menu

After a long closure, then Covid lockdown, I 'm delighted to see The Pinkers open again. And operating as a traditional local pub with great food too. It opens Thurs Sunday only for now. Excellent 'gourmet ' burger meals, and Sunday lunches too, at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit!

Food was ok, pub food at pub prices had the burger came with jacket chips and plain salad and deep fried mushrooms to start Burger was nice but hard to eat it all as it was on the dry side salad could of done with a dressing Seems a shame as it used to get some great reviews Parter had the chicken she liked that but just a bit too bland all round

Terrible service - our food arrived 50 minutes late and was cold. My partner and I both ordered burgers, but they were burnt. The blue cheese burger had no blue cheese and the Mexican burger had tortilla crisps instead of spice. There was no salad and the side order of chicken was actually cold chicken nuggets. Overall, would not recommend this restaurant at all! View menu

Saturday lunchtime 8 adults and 2 children. Good selection on the menu and everyone impressed with their meals which ranged from liver and bacon with mash etc. Chicken on a skillet and steak with all the trimmings. Was quite a long delay between starters and mains but worth waiting for. Understand this pub is changing hands again soon so let’s hope quality of food is maintained.

Came for here for Sunday Lunch and was really pleased we had. They serve their normal menu and also offer 3 roasts which was great. Personally I would of liked to have seen a nice fish dish as a main course (and not fish and chips) but I had the Chicken Skillet which was really nice and cooked to perfection. The tables are spaced evenly out and you don’t feel like you are on top of each other which I really like.

"We came here on a last minute hunt to find a Sunday roast with family without much expectations. However when entering its a lovely set up and we were greeted by Lee and Alison who looked after us for the meal who just to begin were absolutely brilliant, they really care about the customers and make this place extra special. Now for the food you can get a 2 or 3 course meal so everybody made various selections but all had starters. Most went for the Aarancina which isn't your usual starter with a Sunday roast but for here it packs alot of flavour and is a great way to start the meal. They have a great selection of alcoholic beverages I went for a simple beer. For the main roasts we had a variety of meats I wanted the pork but sadly they had no crackling which was half the reason for ordering but if I am being honest after eating the meal it wasn't missed out the meat was tasty full of flavour but the sides were the key. The roast potatoes were of a top level usually when you eat out they are never as good as eating at home, the Yorkshire were huge and tasty, gravy brilliant with plenty to go around and lots of veg and cauliflower cheese on the side. Honestly this was excellent a really good roast probably the best I have ever ate in a resteraunt. Some of the others had the lamb shank which was huge and had great feedback but the beef was great and so was everything else. So yes check it out eat in and eat some great food in a nice setting with absolutely brilliant service you won't be disappointed."

"What can I say….We held our wedding dinner and impromptu party ! on the mezzanine floor and had the time of our lives with our nearest and dearest. It’s been a pretty special place for us as we dined at the House by Hilly Gant to check the area out before moving from London and so as we were having a small wedding of 22 people we felt this was the best place to have our wedding. Suzanne and the team could not have done anything more to make our afternoon and evening so perfect. The food was outstanding and our guests were very impressed Harry and his cocktail making skills are second to none. Huge shout out to all the kitchen staff who’s attention to detail and timings were spot on. Leading up to the day itself Suzanne took charge and offered her expert advice on how to dress the room and made so much effort with our requirements. 3 children and 1 baby as part of the guest list! . The beef in particular was spectacular and the chocolate fondant was sublime. We honestly didn’t want to leave. After dinner Suzanne was able to crank the music up and we had a little party ensuring all the guests downstairs were still well looked after our friends were actually dining downstairs and were able to join us towards the latter part of the evening! From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much to everyone for making it so special for us. I’m not surprised that you were recently awarded your second rosette, totally deserved. For anyone looking for quality food, locally sourced, and beautifully executed this is the place to come. SEE YOU SOON and thank you again x"
