"Food was ok, normal pizza express standard. 2 of us ordered dough balls which they brought out as a starter despite 2 people not ordering any. We ate them fast so wasn 't an issue. We then waited almost an hour for our pizzas. We had a concert to get to so almost had to leave without eating. When we asked how long it would be after 45 mins, we got told you 're gonna have to wait quite rudely. When the pizza finally did arrive, we had to eat in less than 10 minutes. As soon as our pizzas arrived, we asked for the bill and had to ask 2 other people before it finally came. The restaurant wasn 't even particularly busy which made this more odd."

Whenever we come to London we like to eat at this particular Pizza Express because of the excellent service and food.

Went in late to have food, seated straight away even though they were very busy. Delicious food, brilliant service, very efficient staff. Would recommend and the view of a moonlit St Pauls topped it off.

The staff at Pizza Express in St. Paul's were incredibly accommodating, kind, and generous during our visit with a large group. We highly recommend this restaurant and its team, as we are local residents and had a great experience. Thank you!

The atmosphere was pleasant, despite the busyness of the restaurant, they still took good care of our order. Maria Elizabeth, the lady who served us, was very kind and attentive - she was definitely the best worker at Pizza Express. It was a great experience.

This restaurant is just like any other chain restaurant. The location is convenient, service is fast but average, and the quality of the food is mediocre. The prices are reasonable, but there is nothing memorable about our visit. Overall, it is just a typical and average dining option.

Lovely atmosphere . Amazing view from the window looking out at St Paul's Cathedral . The pizzas were excellent, and desserts sublime. We arrived early evening and the restaurant became considerably busier while we were there, but service was very good, and our waiter Igor looked after us beautifully .

The food was excellent and the service was good. However, after the starter was finished, they left the used cutlery on the table to re use with the main course. I have never seen this happen at a Pizza express before. What is happening to the standards at Pizza Express? Please do not drop your standards Pizza Express this is the start of a slippery slope. Next time I visit, I will report back if this is still the practice.

Waited an hour for three pizzas the fourth arrived after an hour and ten minutes, so had to sit and wait whilst everyone else was half way through, this was because waiter had forgotten to order it. No cutlery had to ask for it. Wrong drink brought to the table. Never experienced such poor service anywhere, and yet the table behind were being treated like royalty. I complained and didn’t really get any response or even an apology. Should have realised when the manager greeting us seemed annoyed we hadn’t booked, so rude and will not visit again.

They were very accommodating with us walking in late for dinner (close to closing time). We actually ate here twice—once as carry out for pizza (pizzas were pretty good, and we were able to take back a bottle of wine back to our hotel which was a block away). 2nd time was done in and we had baked pasta dishes. Was really good—sauce does not have a “tinny” taste as some places do. They have a decent selection of beers and wines, and place is kid friendly. Would stop in here again if in London—it’s a great place to stop before or after sightseeing (St. Paul’s is across the street).
