"Really disappointed with the service it was my daughters birthday and had to wait 40 mins for our main only 4 of us). I asked if they could check on the wait times and had to ask 10 mins later as the staff member said she was too busy to check. She then came back to tell me “it was in the oven” in a very rude way. I had to then find the manager, who was very apologetic. Won’t be returning to this pizza express."

My daughter took six friends here for her 11th birthday party. They had a lovely time and Natalie made sure they had everything they needed. It was nice to know we could leave them there in capable hands. Thank you.

Had a very enjoyable evening with my wife and 12 year old daughter. You know you will always get the best pizza here and, although not budget priced, the quality is reliably good. Curtis was our very attentive waiter and Maya also made sure we were happy even though she was busy as front of house. View menu

Great experience a very warm welcome by Maya who went through the menu with us and helped us to make a decision on our food choices. Our waitress was Teresa who was always smiling and attentive and was there when we needed her and left us to enjoy our meal. Good quality of food and will definitely be back again soon.

Fantastic service when they hosted my daughter’s 7th pizza making bday party. The young man lady who were the hosts were amazing! (Sorry can’t remember your names! Kids were overly excited and a bit loud; but the staff were really understanding. Kids had a great time portions were good. Thanks to all the staff. Amazing job!

Service was good. Food was good. Wine was very nice. However, when I used the disabled loo I found it was full of cigarette smoke. It is next to the kitchen. There was no other disabled person in the restaurant so I don't think it was a customer. What a way to treat a disabled person. Shall not be returning. Also, this is against the law. View menu

Lovely staff, good service and delicious food. It’s in an old building do not easily accessible. We carried our disabled daughter up the stairs but an older person in a wheelchair wouldn’t be able to get in easily. Still, I’m glad we went because of the service and food. We have to understand that old buildings cannot always be made accessible.

My wife took our daughter and her two school friends for an early Halloween celebration tonight. They were so happy to see their favourite waitresses and waiter, who greeted them like old friends and remembered their orders from previous visits. It is without doubt the staff at Pizza Express that make this restaurant stand out from the competition in Bishops Stortford.
