"the forge lies in the place old- kötzschenbroda of radebeul which is so a bit the pubenmeile of the city. the local is not big and has only a few wooden and chairs for small or medium parts. with more than 6 people it is not recommended to go there and even you should try to reserve a few days before. the style is a nice mix of German or Mediterranean cuisine with Iranian-Scottish drink selection. there are kilkenny, guiness, strongbow and budweiser vom hahn and every amount of whiskys. necessarily also pay attention to the sign at the entrance, the whisky of the week stands for 4,80€- contempt! for 4cl!Cheers!"

"today eat from home with the super order service. as always super tasty, only my little italy in radebeul from the first hour. I find it as always, it is extremely authentic and always liked. had two main dishes and two desserts. everything was ready in time and warm. very well packed and yet well dressed. Thank you."

"We were served relatively quickly. The young woman also has a little hurry the restaurant was not even half full. She must have been with the chef only after her statement. Our third visit to the quality of the food has definitely left behind. Beef from quality far too expensive. Rib eye was crushed, 40€ for 250 g fillet, even the meat quality was not appropriate. Normally I don't need a steak knife for ordinary fillet meat!!! After everything was quickly thrown off, there was also no question whether everything was okay, to pay it to the vaults, this looked like a dish rack, not really nice. For the prices you want to wait a little more. It was our last visit."

"Yesterday the restaurant ran a wonderful event combining an excellent dinner in a beautiful setting with children who could behave like children. We never had such an outstanding dinner together with small children. The service was extremely friendly, the food very, very good, and the...wines fitted perfectly to the meals. For our children (4 and 5 years) the cook had prepared a tiny burger, tiny fries and and tiny pizza as greetings from the kitchen, noodles with pasta and cheese as main course and they were invited into the kitchen for fetching ice-cream as desserts. over, this was all included in our four course dinner with selected wines. There were toys, but most importantly, the kids were allowed to make noise, to move around and to play in the restaurant. It was simply wonderful not to hand-over the children to their grandparents while going to an outstanding restaurant. We just hope that they will run a similar event in the future. Nevertheless, I clicked on 'not-sure ' in the category family-friendly below as I understand that this was a very special event."

"After visiting the winery Schloss Wackerbarth (a must visit tram line from Dresden and exit at Schloss Wackerbarth, trying to get Tripadvisor to list it, we took back the tram line direction Dresden using our one day tram pass (only euro)...and got out at the Zillerstr. stop to walk up to the Spitzhaus. Wow! You need to be in good shape to climb up the hill (see photo) but it is a wonderful climb with on your left side the vineyards. They plant the vines up steep hills creating great wines. If you are not in good shape, take a taxi up to Spitzhaus and walk down the stairs to the main road (Meissen Strasse). Anyway, we were late to make reservations at the Spitzhaus and we got a lousy table, so we opted to go outside to the terrace. They have self service there with a very limited menu dominated by sea food. We just got some wine and beer, enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous views and selected Gasthaus Oberschaenke as the place to go have dinner in Radebeul what a lucky hit! See my review of that restaurant."
