"We stopped in here for a walking break at happy hour. The place was busy and looked welcoming. The staffnot so welcoming. We had a beer and the spritz deal and both the drink and bite sized snack was tiny. The drinks were fine and so too was the bruschetta but the service was pretty rude. One waiter had an argument with someone because the customer didn’t like the coffee. He continued to discuss the customer with the next who he also served coffee to and awaited their review (they weren’t so game to be honest). I have the say though that this place had the BEST bathrooms in Venice (of all the restaurants we visited)!"

They stole from the clients. They put a price on the menu and then when you will pay they charge a lot more. They put small letters hidden and make you pay. It's really absurd. Summary. Larger place, setup for tourists Open air, caters for most. Probably better quality or value for money if you move further from St Marco square. Wouldn't go again. Food. 2 pizzas for lunch were on par with other Venice restaurants and exceed our Rome experience. Service. Quick, albeit comes with a pp cover charge for an Aussie it appears Venice wrote large is latching onto an external mandatory tipping/surcharge culture vice discretionary recognition of good service. Atmosphere. Street based. Open. Not too busy, mostly tourist traffic.
