"We were driving from Leichtenstein back to Kaiserslautern and checked Yelp as we were approaching this part along the Autobahn. La Gratta is a bit off the beaten path, but it is Sunday and that means a lot of places are closed. We were very happy with our choice! I ordered Cordon Bleu with kroketten and hubby ordered Pfeffer steak with pommes. Both were huge portions! There was no way to eat this huge portions largest we have seen in Europe! The waitress offered us foil to wrap our leftovers to go! Also a first for us in Europe! Very good, but go with a huge appetite or share a plate! Very quick service too!"

"Gestern waren wir erstmals im wiedereröffneten Bürgerkeller in Schlierbach. Mein Gedanke war, da hat der neue Pächter ein schweres Erbe anzutreten (die Hokenmaiers waren nun wirklich eine Institution hier in der Gegend). Aber was soll ich sagen, der neue Pächter bekäme bei mir ebenfalls die Schulnote 1+. Zum Auftakt hatte ich eine Maultaschensuppe, war wirklich eine große Portion, gut gepfeffert mit 2 relativ üppigen Maultaschen in der Brühe. Die Suppe hatte nur einen kleinen Nachteil sie war so überirdisch lecker, daß mir meine Frau, die sonst nicht so auf Maultaschen steht, gleich die Hälfte der Suppe weg aß. Sei ihr gegönnt! Als Hauptgericht bestellte meine Frau sich "Scaloppina Gorgonzolasoße "auf eigenen Wunsch mit hausgemachten Spaghetti. Ich hatte das Doradenfilet mit Gemüse. Bei beiden Essen war ein Beilagensalat im Preis enthalten. Beide Gerichte waren megalecker!!! Und in unseren Augen wirklich preiswert! Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ambiente kann man nur als sehr gemütlich und ansprechend bezeichnen. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch dort. Der neue Pächter ist ein Glücksgriff für unsere lokale Gastronomie. "We were the first time after the change of property in La Sicilia. We were warmly welcomed. We were kindly asked if we would like to sit in the restaurant or on the terrace. In this great weather naturally on the terrace. Despite a birthday party, we were friendly and friendly not served). It didn't take long to get our drinks and our food. La Sicilia is also suitable for families with children located directly on the sports field where children can play. The ambience in the restaurant is romantic. I can only recommend it."

"This restaurant was really a bad choice. Bad service very arrogant staff, bad food I asked a meat strudel that came cold and without a strudel and also without any kind of rice or vegetables or pommes... just a cold meat. Even very few possibilities on drinking, for example, they did not have any kind of juice without sparkling. I would also like to point out that they asked me a 100€ reservation fee we are 6 adults 2kids because they only serve menu and it was January 1st. I paid and when we arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant I found out why later... and there was no menu. I paid for a regular reservation.... Very bad experience. Not recommended"

"Great German restaurant for every occasion with very good value for money and truly remarkable service that you do not get in the region, in my opinion. In addition, the card changes regularly after season, so there are always new creations. It also includes vegetarian and vegan dishes that can be seen and do not drive the standard program. If you like it more classic, you can also find simple dishes on the Vesper card. We celebrated our wedding there in April and are super satisfied with this choice: even for over 60 guests, service and kitchen work perfectly in the Schäferhof. The quality of the menu has inspired everyone and the service has fulfilled every wish until the end."
