"We saw the pub as we were passing and decided to pull in and give it a try for a mid-week lunch as we were hungry. Never been here before. We both ordered the Steak and Kidney Pie; one with vegetables and mash and the other with chips and peas.The pie was a portion from a large home made pie, which was fantastic, both in terms of tate and portions. The accompanying veg etc. was of a similar high quality.The atmosphere in the bar was great, although the tables are a little too close together but they are obviously required as all were taken!The barmaid was friendly and helpful and all in all this was a very pleasant visit and a nice surprise. Will definitely go again."

Second customer of the day and waited 40 mins for lunch, the menu was ok, friendly staff, clean place, just felt food could of been quicker.

Not a bad pub and got a lot of potential. Sadly when visited today, apart from myself and my mate, no one other than the barmaid was in there. The couple of pints I had were cheaper than the surrounding pubs well chilled so from that perspective all good
