"We stopped by on a cold and rainy day and found the restaurant to be cozy and welcoming, thanks to the warm log burner. We enjoyed breakfast sandwiches for two adults and two children, along with some tea, coke, and delicious slices of cake. The bill came out to about £30 for all four of us, which we found to be reasonable. The food was fresh and tasty, making it the perfect place to unwind. We have visited in the summer as well, and the outdoor seating area is charming with a children's park nearby and a river where you can feed the friendly ducks across the road. Overall, it's a lovely little spot to visit."

Puddle Ducks is truly a lifesaver! When we had a blowout and were stuck waiting for the RAC, they came to our rescue by providing us with free coffee and a warm place to wait, even though they were closed. Thank you so much for your help! View menu

Not visited for a while as it had gone downhill in the last couple of years . Was pleasantly surprised. The cafe looked amazing , the staff were lovely , The food was great. Took a while for food to arrive but it was a very busy bank holiday weekend . Will definitely be back .

Visited Puddleducks yesterday afternoon. Beautifully redecorated and now fully open again. Lovely friendly, staff, lots of smiles and very welcoming. Excellent fresh coffee! Food nice and tasty too. It was very busy (it was a nice sunny day) and we had a short wait but it was well worth it. Definitely would recommend this lovely tearoom!

We would like to thank all the staff at Puddleducks who were very friendly and were really good with my little boy. We were driving past and decided to stop off for a quick break and we weren’t disappointed. We had tea and a lovely Victoria Sponge cake, we would definitely recommend. Next time we are in the area we will pop in again. Thanks x View menu

The outdoor seating was wet from a previous rain shower, and I had to use a tissue to dry my bench. When an elderly couple requested to sit outside but found the seats wet, their concerns were ignored by the waitress, who did not attempt to dry the seats. The waitress also left dirty dishes on the tables as she walked back and forth between the till and outdoor tables. With better organization and common sense, this place has the potential to be a great spot for drinks or a meal, but improvements are needed.

Popped in for a coffee and cake as we were passing, it’s a quaint little cafe but my husband queued for ages for a coffee and our visit was spoilt a little by another customer next to us who kept barking at everyone to shut the door behind them as she was cold which was quite irritating so we quickly had our drinks and left. Might be worth putting a spring on the door so it shuts behind you. I had a slice of carrot cake but I’d change supplier the cake was so excessively sugary I felt sick afterwards. We will visit again if passing it was just a little tarnished by other customers.
