"Just as lockdowns are easing, one can think about interactions with strangers. On a lazy weekend we decided to order in from Punjab. Calling the restaurant directly was not a good idea....they seemed kinda uninterested in engaging and were very curt with recommendation to order...via lieferando. We were under the impression that calling local business help them but in this case they prefer it not! Having placed the order in Lieferando, the food arrived close to an hour later, we did anticipate the afternoon rush so it was not too bad. We ordered four dishes, all vegetarian. The Malai Kofta and Dal were quite good along with Veg Biryani. The accompanying rice seemed a bit overdone but still good. portions are reasonable considering the higher price."

Sie sind hier goldrichtig, wenn Sie indisches Essen mögen. Der beste Inder weit und breit. Wir mögen indisches Essen sehr und haben schon einige probiert und hier schmeckt es am besten. Es hat Plätze sowohl drinnen und auch draussen. Freundlicher Service gibt's noch obendrauf. Vorher telefonisch zu reservieren ist ratsam.

The service lady was very rude and harsh, making us hurry to finish food early, she made rude and unrelevant comments too. Made us regret of choosing this place. She did ill-treat us for being Indians!!! Wouldn't recommend you until you are ready to be judged for being girls and going for dinner post ten !! Please grow up , mentally as well!

The food here is delicious! We've also had meals delivered from Punjab several times now. Chicken Saag is my personal favourite. Service in the restaurant itself is quite slow and the staff forgot to brings us additional items we ordered. I would recommend to reserve a table if you're a big group as they could get quite full even on weekdays.

Wir hatten einen Tisch heute auf 17:00 Uhr bestellt. Wir kamen pünktlich, ein Servicemitarbeiter schlief auf einer Bank, erhob sich nicht mal und meinte, wir sollen um 17:30 Uhr wiederkommen, wir sollten gehen. Draußen tobte ein Gewitter. Was ist das für ein Service/Dienstleistung? Was für eine Frechheit? Bei der Reservierung ein sehr freundliches Mädchen am Telefon, aber diese Behandlung???? Nie wieder!!!!

Das Punjab in Karlsruhe ist ein verstecktes indisches Juwel, das definitiv einen Besuch wert ist. Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker, selbst wenn man etwas auf die Bestellung warten muss. Die Wartezeit mag etwas lang sein, aber sobald das Essen serviert wird, ist man einfach begeistert. Auch bei größeren Gruppen klappt der Service gut. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die geduldig sind und indisches Essen lieben.

Haben essen zum abholen bestellt 1x Papadum (bei dem die Soßen fehlten) 2x chicken tikka. Davon eins scharf und eins nicht. Mir ist schon klar, dass die indische Küche eine scharfe ist, aber beide waren von der Schärfe her überhaupt nicht zu unterscheiden. Des Weiteren war das Essen leider total fettig und hat bis in die Plastiktüte gefettet. Schwierig, wenn man das im Auto transportiert. Das Fleisch war sehr zart der Reis toll wie immer. 1 chicken tikka masala 17,50€

Das Essen, war gut. Jedoch nicht ganz günstig. Bei anderen Inder bekommt man Naan Brot kostenlos vorab. Und für die doch relativ stolzen Preise sind die Portionen wirklich klein. Der Reis wurde uns gut 15 Minuten bevor unser Essen kam auf den Tisch gestellt, ohne Stövchen. Er war dann kalt bis unser Essen kam. Nach dem Essen kam keine Bedienung mehr vorbei. Wir wollten eigentlich noch gemütlich ein Coctail trinken. Wir sind nach gut 20 bis 30 Minuten dann rein um jemand zu holen bei dem wir bezahlen können. Den Cocktail haben wir wo anders getrunken.
